Superballin Our Fishman, Who art in rhombus,
W00kie be thy name.
These hippies come With guitar and drum
On tour as it is in Gamehendge.
Give this day our daily toke
And forgive us our WSP stats
As we forgive spreadheads that come to our Phish shows.
Lead us not into the Biscuits
And deliver us from Umphrey's

I'm supposed to make this part clever right?

Superballin Welcome to my first GM.N thread. I'm up nice and early to beat the lines at the DMV. Lost my wallet night 3 of Bader Field and haven't bothered to get my license replaced. I figure today's the day.

And thank god that's all over with. Way too many one day political nuts on both sides.

bostonron GM.N! Heading to court (again) in a little bit. Today, Friday and next Thursday, the second appearances of each of my three court dates. To add to my stress, I woke up to find my computer unable to start (attempting repairs now). My charger also broke yesterday forcing me to dive into the last bit of money I had to buy a new one. Still waiting to hear back from this job. I called yesterday and spoke with personnel. She told me to call back today. I took it upon myself to apply for a bartending gig yesterday afternoon. Wouldn't mind getting the bar gig, TBH. It's been a few years since I've worked in a bar. Money is good and I need to meet some new people around my area. Plus, I really need some money right now. Despite all this shit coming down on me, I'm in surprisingly high spirits and smiling. Think positive, get positive results, right? A friend of mine is organizing a trip to Rockaway, NY to aid in the cleanup this weekend. I'm gonna get a hold of her today and see what the deal is. Assuming I don't start any new jobs this weekend, I'll probably go and see what I can do. I hope .net and GM.N peoples have a great day. I'll try and pop in this afternoon when I get back and say hi.

And good luck, @bostonron. Good move on the Rockaway deal. Upside of lack of employment, being able to do that? I wish i had that flexibility. As it is I'm passing some cash along to a friend who's doing a similar thing - gonna provide food out of a mobile kitchen for a while.

I think I killed a tree last night. Little baby one still in a pot. Was less than 20 last night, I forgot to bring it home. The rootball probably froze. I guess I'll know for sure in a couple days. I suck.

Would that be an appropriate headline?

Seriously, we need a for-serious coalition of the massive majority of people that are sick of the process. The phone calls, the junk mail, the ridiculous ads. Do the "pros" think all the snark on twitter and facebook and whatnot is just a small minority of wiseasses that are just irresponsible citizens? This whole thing is like the parable of the frog in the pot of water and then you start to heat it up. We hit "rolling boil" a long time ago, but they just keep turning the heat up and putting more water in the pot and sacrificing more frogs.

Won't somebody think of the frogs?

(I'm pretty sure the frogs are us in this story, but I haven't thought it all the way through.)

Second night in a row of night terrors from my son. They SUCK... They range from he thinks his hands on fire to a snake in his room, etc. There is NOTHING I can do... impossible to wake him up and he doesn't remember the next day. At least today is Hump Day...

Edit: Sign'd on the Linda McMahon rout... she's a f***ing loon

@johnnyd - I put my daughter in her costa rica tree frog t-shirt this morning for school. Does that count?

I've posted it elsewhere, but thought it's worth repeating - the Denver Nuggets now officially have the best name in all of team sports. Will they change their logo?

I've listened to the 12/13/99 Sand three times in a row- it's been a while since I've come across a jam I know nothing about and have been completely blown away by it. This version of Sand is like getting shot with a cocaine bullet directly in the face. Or something. I'm not good with metaphors. All I know is you should listen to it if you haven't. It's straight fire.

mfhgreyboy I liked The Grey. I didn't find it "scary" I guess as much as it was creepy/eerie. There was a lot of...struggling for the right word.....atmosphere (maybe?) in the cinematography that gave me the illusion of fear without necessarily being "scary." Don't know if that makes any sense.

I like the MSG one too, but it is nothing special. It has a lot of sentimental value because of the run and what not, but artistically, it is average. I mean it is hanging above my bed. I am probably gonna go with the Tron poster so I can have a non show poster on display
