Is the phan base ready to move on and sacrifice the NYE prank for the jam of their choice? Or if there was no prank this year would it be the biggest disappointment followed by he biggest outcry of the community?

Or they could prank having an absence of a prank and then just when everyone thinks that no prank would happen they have a different prank and then it turns out that there was not one prank but two pranks and then overall the prank was that they had two pranks and it wasn't so much what the pranks actually were but the fact of the prank itself, or more accurately...themselves because there were two remember?

I don't think there would be an outcry. At least, I wouldn't be upset. I would much rather see them pull out a monster auld Lang syne-> big jam song.

I would honestly be okay with no prank. I would also be okay with a prank. I would only be mildly disappointed in a Bieber prank. I suppose I could appreciate the humor in it, if I had to.
