I am just extremely happy they got their acts together, itd be nice to see them tour more, but its easy for me to say that, as long as they are happy, and play music around here once in a while, im all smiles!

I don't think rock stars should be considered hero's but Trey is absolutely a hero and an inspiration to many former addicts. It's nice to see him share more of the story with the main stream.

I'll tell you one thing -- David Fricke is and always will be the best rock reporter. I don't care what anyone thinks of Rolling Stone as a whole; this piece is awesome. Look at the sourcing, the writing, the analogies. They are great, and Fricke gets Trey to open the depths of his soul. I've interviewed every single member of Phish, but never for a story about Phish. My god, it's a dream of mine to spend a weekend with them, putting together a big piece for Relix or any publication.

I really wish that article was another 3 pages long. I've always taken an interest in the band's off-stage inner-workings and relationships (mainly Trey's obsessive control), and this was a good read in that regard.

It was great to hear Trey so happy about Phish along with his other projects. I Hope this puts to rest the folks who say his focus is elsewhere nowadays. He even called the writer back to talk more the organic nature of his leadership in Phish! Sweetness
