BTV and Manchester airports are real, too. If not, then they've got me fooled! Both are a little bit closer to Rutvegas than Boston & Owl-bunny.

The only outside show will be moe on the stage over at bear 2:30 -4. if your fraile or weak stay inside the lodge and watch from there. last year was really cold. this year may not be so bad. Plus its an free outdoor show.. Moe will be skiing too as they love z mountians........Vinny was tearing up the slopes last year. Maybe floodwood would play an indoor show here too. more moe

You are an asshole. Did moe. traumatize you as a small child or something?

Jimmymac03 Moe. Is great. Been big fan of theirs for years. If you have a different opinion that is cool, no problem. That's the beauty of this world. We can all think differently and form our own likes and dislikes. Opinions and preferences. That is what makes us all unique. There is no need to shit on a band if you don't happen to like them. Unless it is Bieber ;)

when you can play a guitar better than chuck, then you can talk trash about them. otherwise, they are an amazing band which you happen to dislike, but they don't suck.

cactoid Is chuck the guy on the left or the guy on the right if I am facing the stage?

I thought the guy on the left had better chops maybe, but the guy on the right had better choice/taste.

BTW - skiing and Jambands miiiiiight be my favorite two things ever. Probably going to this.

cactoid Cool, thanks. I kind of have a beef with Killington though, its so big and crowded and inconvenient to ski there dodging through all these people, and the ticket is expensive.

Although it has the longest season in the east I believe and thats pretty good.

Jimmymac03 So I was talking to my dad tonight about music. We do this often. I was sharing about the Strangefolk show I saw at the Capitol and told him about Al Schnier opening and how awesome he is. My dad has seen moe. before believe it or not. We were talking about Phish as well and he says "I like moe. more than Phish." So I inform him moe. is hosting a fest at killington. Apparently this is where my dad saw moe. last year (or 2 years ago) and he loved it.

My dad is 57. He has never seen Phish btw, though I would love for him to come sometime. He knows this and is willing.

So he bought the full fest Ski package for both of us. Thanks pops. Best Xmas gift ever.

docdocformayor Been to the last 2 in Killington- a few tips

As it has sort of been mentioned, the day and night shows are in different locations.

Day music is in Killington at the mountain and in the lodge- while night acts are in Rutland at the Spartan Arena.

No matter where you stay- you will need to drive a solid 30 mins from one to the other- so definitely have a sober driver. I have seen police be somewhat aggressive in 10- not as bad in 11- but don't be stupid - be safe!

Holiday Inn or Red Roof are solid choices in Rutland- never stayed in Killington before...overall it is a pretty good time- aside from the driving-

bottom line- if you enjoy moe., great Vermont scenery, beer & umm, shrubbery, it is an awesome weekend!
