Yeah, I'm a bit late, but lets give some love to this fantastic run. They offered up 3 different but great shows. I couldn't hit the 1st night, but the bag and ghost are fantastic. the second 2 shows blew me away. The second night second set was sheer phish rock and roll. The 3rd night offered up one of the best bt gin's I've seen. By the way, if you see the year 1998 and bt gin on the set list, pull that show down.

Anyway, I digress. Somehow, between the 2011 uic run and the 2 '94 shows, this run, a serious highlight of fall '98 has become a bit overshadowed. Do yourself a favor, if you haven't, check these 3 nights out!!

i'm very happy with the recent release of Chicago 94. But I think Chicago 98 is the superior run and probably would have been better.

Hard to argue against it. Especially with mikes groove in the 1st set. Granted, it's one of the most disjointed grooves out there.

I agree. Plus, there were already higher quality recordings of the '94 shows, particularly 6/18/the superior show, circulating.

These are great shows that are totally deserving of a box-set release. The 11/7 Bag is potentially the best 'ambient' jam the band has ever done and the 11/9 Bag is a top 10 version
