Bethel with the -> into Walk Away
Clarkson, Funkified opener
Darien, Slow, funky, awesome jam
Superball had an awesome jam
UIC was a great one
Obviously nothing crazy experimental but a lot of good jams came out of the tune last summer.
My vote is for 97, buy @DanceTheJig728 is right too. Wolfman's has been consistently solid, if not exploratory in 3.0. Wolfman's 09-12> Wolfman's 94-96.
Absolutely. 3.0 has been good to Wolfman's
Even bad old 2004 was graced by some fine Wolfman's Brethren. 8/10/04 shreds some murky gnar.

Edit: ok, there were about 24 versions.
Like the love from 2011 (like it through 2012 too) - the vocal jams always get me and its been a solid 1st set rocker. Any time they get the funk out I'm a happy camper.
12/01/03My favorite wolfmans but the 97 versions killed though!!

1997 is a pretty solid year for Wolfman's, so is 2003Yep. Came in here to say '97. I feel like they played it every other night while in Europe. And every one is spectacular.
98 all day
pretty different from any other version, but even without 10/31/98, that's the year of the Wolf for me.
97 and 98 hold my 2 fav versions: 11/30/97 and 11/18/98. Although I always skip the end jam of the worcester wolfman's. The jam preceding it is transcendent though.
