pretty cool I dig it.
I give it a solid B
A few observations:
The video is f'in bizarre.
At times, anime Trey looks more like Fishman with red hair.
There's a lot of close-ups of Trey's nappy beard, and I think it's a lot thicker in real life.
The trip through the gastro-intestinal system is weird, and is Trey drunk in that stomach?
Trey would definitely not fight a baby hawk, and I think they captured that scenario well.
I love that they got the Ocedoc in there with all its wood grainy goodness.

I thought it was completely UNcreative.....the animator did nothing but create actions based on a VERRRRRRY LITERAL interpretation of the lyrics.
It had all the creativity & technical prowess of a student video from FULL SAIL.
Just sayin'.....
why does trey need music videos for his new album? this feels weird.
@LoboJoe said:Its only saving grace is that Beavis and Butthead made fun of it.Better than DWD, at any rate.A very good point, totally forgot about that.
I normally wouldn't say something like this, but I have actually appreciated the more "commercial" elements of Traveller and its surrounding elements. Before I get to much further, I should define "commercial". I don't mean selling out. I don't mean pandering to the lowest common denominator. Rather, I am simply referring to the fact that Trey seems to be approaching this album, the tour, and now the music videos with a certain embrace of the more traditional elements of the recording business. For me, it is really just nice to see someone from the Phish camp step out of the Phish-y way of doing things and into a new light. It's not that I don't love the Phish-y way. It is just good to get some new perspective on things you think you know.perfectly said.
also its pretty funny video. He gets shit out by a squid.
Huh. I guess I'm in the minority. Thought it was fucking cool.
And also, of a few of those 80's Peter Gabriel videos, like 'Sledgehammer'.
Yeah?
I like it. It's fun and he gets pooped out by a squid.the simple pleasures in life
