STFTFP

ypehmish Love this gem from Joy, just wish they would explore it more. I will say there is something about Dicks 12 version that I love. The little harmonic sound Trey starts to jump into it, the all around quality of the playing is stellar.

What's your thoughts on it>? Favorite version?

The stripped down versions Trey played solo acoustic a couple years ago during TAB tour are great as well. Really emphasized the blues feel of the song.

I'd post a link to one but I aren't intelligence enuf.

I agree. Love the song, but soooo much potential. BDTNL is fun, but I wish STFTFP got the same kind of exploratory treatment.

JayDubya I had honestly never heard the song when I caught it at Alpine in 2010. Hadn't really spent any time with Joy at that point, wasn't really back on board yet in 3.0.

Loved it, one of my favorites from those two nights. Bluesy rocker with the "blank space" lyric that everyone can relate to.
