Only 16 for me
I know 1 person w/ a 100+ shows in 3.0. Don't be jealous of him. He's a total tool.I wonder if we know the same person...I also know someone who has only been to shows in 3.0 and is over the 100 show mark....but like @MiguelSanchez said: don't be jealous of him, he's a mega tool.
Since I'm only 24, didn't get to see my first show until 2009. But I'm up to 75. Hope to catch 15-20 shows next year.
1.0 - 86how do you see the band 86 times in 1.0 and when they come back from hiatus you only see them once!? Then you see them 61 times after that. What happened in 2.0 man?

That was fun. I'd love to see them more. I wish I could go to more shows. Even though I saw a handful of 1.0, I'm kind of jealous of some younger people I know who are going to 3.0 shows (traveling to Denver, AC, Superball, etc.). But, I've got the whole grown up responsibility thing going on. wife, baby, mortgage, job, etc. I just can't do it. But I still love my life.

What happened in 2.0 man?Speaking for myself, I had no interest in 2.0. I was pretty much burnt out on the whole shitshow of a scene by '98. Now I can go and enjoy again without caring what goes on around me. Signed 120 (1993-1998) 3 (1999-2009) 32 (2010-2012)

NO SHAME either. Money has been by biggest issue, was in HS during 2.0. Was handed ALO in the hallways in 2001 and have been listening on almost daily basis since. They came back in 2003 but didn't have the $. When they announced the break up, I told my 2 friends (got them hooked) that we HAVE to go to Coventry or I'll never get to see them live. So we all busted our asses, worked overtime at our shitty part time jobs, and saved. We all went, despite the obvious reservations, we had a blast. College would of been primetime for me if they toured then, because I would of took my weekend spending money (thanks mom&dad) and hit up as many shows as I could opposed to just drinking it away like I did every weekend instead. THEN they came back when I graduated college when I DEFINITELY didn't have enough $ ha. Was able to catch a few homestate shows, but thats it. Took a lot of hard work and patience, but I finally found a great job, with great pay and a ton of PTO ( I actually work right next to MSG in midtown) and plan to finally, FINALLY get around to a bunch of shows in 2013 and hopefully a few of the NYE run.
Who here's seen the most shows, period? I know one of my teachers has seen 120...i forgot who but i saw someone with 220+

For most of 2003 I was living in Alaska and then we moved and I was starting a new job and it was just hard to make it work because I was more career focused. Who here's seen the most shows, period? I know one of my teachers has seen 120...My cousin is approaching 200. He started in 92 and did all of summer 99 and summer 2000. He sold the 2001 super space funk shirts you still sometimes see.

2-3 shows a tour is just enough for me...
So if they play for another 8 years or so ill have 100 3.0 shows.

also @ypehmish - you and I have very similar stories. Downloaded YEM/Heavy Things during the 99 Napster days. Dug them but wasn't that blown away. Got LivePhish 8, Sugarbush and Halloween 94 in HS and loved them but didn't have $$$ or means to see them. Someone tried to custie me $200 for a Camden ticket, said f*** that. Didn't go to Coventry just because I didn't have money or the will anymore. Convinced I would never see them live. Forgot about it, went to college. My senior year they came back in 09 and I thought "Why not?" really didn't think I could end up like them much more than I already did simply by seeing them live. First show was 11/28/09 - been to 32 shows since and have all 4 nights ready to go for YEMSG
