Thank you @Bozo3, very appreciative

setlist claims a weekapaug groove tease during the low rider jam?! did anyone hear this? (I was away.)

Furthur is OK, but sometimes Bob falls asleep. Plus, I'd rather hear a new spin on old classics rather than Bob and Phil with a guy who mimics Jerry and puts little soul into his work with Furthur. I've seen John K. solo a few times, and he's a COMPLETELY different player, with way more heart and soul.
Phil is the man, hands down. Every PL&F lineup has been ridiculously insanely good. Jackie Greene has grown into a true star. At first, I wasn't sold, but now I hope he's a mainstay in Phil's band.
Dream Phil lineup:
Phill on bass
John Molo on drums
Rob Baracco on keys
Larry Campbell and Jimmy Herring on guitar
Barry Sless on pedal steel
Joan Osborne, but ONLY to sing Ripple
EDIT: Jackie Green on vocals, keys and/or guitar
Agreed. Break up Furthur for EVER and let Phil do his thing. It's so much better than any post-Jerry Dead band. Furthur is OK, but sometimes Bob falls asleep. HAHA! I got a -1 for my opinion. f*** YOU ALL!By the way, this was a joke. I love this forum and I love (most) people's senses of humor.
Otherwise, agreed, this lineup w\ special guests is solid. Kadelicik-Russo-Chimenti = (.)(.)
Russo is better than Molo.
Chimenti is better than Headband.
Kadelicik is better than Campbell/Herring in this configuration. Herring doesnt sing, Campbell doesnt jam as hard as K.

Scored the Official Second Set List from Adam MacDougall after the show, that second set was insane, the music NEVER stopped! He gave my cousin the first set one, but I got the prize. What a great place and show.
Today I am starting at the beginning of the run. About to crank 11/15 as I do some housework.
The only difference between Furthur and this lineup was substituting Bobby for Jackie Green (plus MacDougal sat in for Chimenti a few shows, but Chimenti is a much better player). No way. Larry jams like CRAZY. Lusten to the 2006 and 2008 tours (I was at EVERY SINGLE show those two years) and you'll see what I mean. This is subjective.

Also, the band I described is completely different than Furthur, so check your facts, bud. Headband, as you call him, is the man and while Chimenti is amazing in his own right, Robby boy is the best for Phil's band.
I slept with one of Baracco's daughters.
But was there really a Weekapaug Groove tease?!?!
This tour was about my dream PLF lineup, at least the shows with Chimenti were. Jackie is a monster, JK is perfect on the pretty stuff, and Phil, man, 72 and rockin' hard, you gotta love it.
I'm psyched to see the Q next month but otherwise not a fan of Barraco, too goofy. He can seriously wreck your show if you stand directly in front of him, mouthing the words and making silly faces...

Low Rider Jam was very obvious, but I would love to hear the Weekapaug Tease, Hearing is Believing.
