Great article, thanks. Love the prankster spirit of bringing Phish to the teenybopper hordes...
I also cringe when I hear the words Phish and Bieber in the same sentence, not because I hate Bieber--I've never heard a single song of his and am willing to grant his talent--but because I am enough of a snob to be uncomfortable with Phish's occasional flirtations with teen pop. It's hard for me to imagine the band that could do the Prague or Copenhagen Ghost could exist in the same universe as a Justin Bieber. That said, I also quite liked this article, and found Kanter to be refreshingly honest and open, about Phish and Bieber. He seems like a decent type and I'm glad he has both a passion for Phish and a more than decent gig with Bieber. Still, it is a bit weird to have Posh Spice vouching for Kuroda....
Its basically a more efficient (though less personal) B&P.
I think it's funny that Kanter is friends with Mike and tours with one of the biggest stars in the world but he still gets wierd when he runs into Trey.
As least I know I'm not the only with a man crush
