Any of you .net musicians have any original music to share? I've been playing guitar for around 2 years now and finally got around to putting together a song, the recordings a little rough though, being my first one ever. If you check it out make sure to listen for the Phish quote at the end (it's very apparent) and i'd recommend listening with headphones or external speakers. Anyways i'd love to hear any of you .netters stuff!

Side note; Phish and the Dead are what inspired me to pick up a guitar, and there's really nothing that motivates me more than listening to them!

nematode Here's two tracks I wrote this semester, I have about 4 others but they have been hastily/shitily recorded. I try to take jams from sessions with my band and turn them into songs, and this first one is the product of such a process:

159: http://soundcloud.com/burnt-waffles/159-basement-demo
acoustic: http://soundcloud.com/burnt-waffles/159-acoustic-demo

Coming St.: http://soundcloud.com/burnt-waffles/coming-st-studio-version

Here are some tracks from my band I have back in Baltimore. If you're in the Baltimore/DC area this December/January be sure to look out for Breezewood! Plenty of -> too!!

Missed My Chance> Outerlude: http://soundcloud.com/esmith58/missed-my-chance-outerluede
-> Breezewood-> Bitch: http://soundcloud.com/esmith58/breezewood-bitch
Bitch Jam-> Not Fade Away: http://soundcloud.com/esmith58/bitchjam-nfa-amber-pool-jam

Here's the full Fourth of July set for anyone who wants it too: http://soundcloud.com/esmith58/sets/4th-of-july-pool-party/

I play bass btw.

BernardShakey Nice stuff guys, I totally hear Dead and Phish in "Audicity", "Coming St." reminds me of like sublime or something but not generic.

BernardShakey No prob, its really relaxing kind of like a '72 Dark Star, especially while staring at that paisley.

nematode Thanks for the kind words both of y'all. You're piece does remind me a lot of some spacey Dead, @microdan, I like I like. @BernardShakey I haven't heard of the sublime likeness before, though I have been told I sound like a barred Afro-Man and a little bit like Jack Johnson, though thats only because I doubled the vocal track. Let's see some more music by our fellow .netters, or else I'm gonna keep bumping cause I enjoy the selfing.

BernardShakey Actually that's funny because I wanted to say Jack Johnson, but I wasnt sure that anyone else knew who he was.

I was in a jam band in college. I don't have many recordings from back then, but I will begrudgingly post one here. Keep in mind that the recordings I have aren't really songs with a structure, but just jams really. Go easy on us folks:
