This morning I somehow forgot to take all of them and it just occured to me about an hour ago. I'm not sure what I should do. If I didn't have so many pills to take every day it wouldn't be an issue but since I do I was wondering if it is wise to take my usual morning doses now and then again in about 8 hours when I usually take them. Here's my complete daily regimen:
zoloft 200mg
buspar 30mg
welbutrin 100mg
crestor 10 mg
also take prilosec and claritin D daily.
well .net now you know way more than I planned on sharing but I'm just sick of doing google searches on the subject. Part of me says take them now, part of me says just wait til morning. My gf says wait til morning. The anxiety I am feeling over this is just proof that something I take to keep my mind within the range of 'normal' has been missed. what say you .net?
This is a very reasonable question. Your doctor's practice must have someone on call. That's what they're there for, and why they get paid the big bucks. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to call them, have them paged if necessary, and ask. There's no better source of information. In the meantime, don't be anxious....
I'd look at half life. That is how long the drug stays in your system, Zoloft is 24hrs for example, so for 24 hrs the medication is taking effect, after that period things get "hairy"
Bro I'd talk to a dr, shrink, and get second opinions on the meds your taking, I Rec a third opinion from a legit holistic specialist and some sort of clergy, wicken whatever. Hang in there.

They're totally unprofessional if they act annoyed because you called. If anything, they might find it refreshing to talk to someone who has a straightforward question, and who appreciates the help!
I'm fine btw, took all my meds this morning like normal, and other than getting almost no sleep at all I feel fine. Wait -- a little gas... it's gone. I'm good. Love you all .net.
First. Call your medical doctor or pharmacist and ask.
Second. Call a psychiatrist and see if you can get an appointment ASAP to help determine the real reasons you are reaching out to a music site for medical advice.
I wish you well.

Normally, I'd agree with you. But it sounds like he's been taking this medicine regularly for a while. Every now and then I forget a dose. I take it as soon as I remember and I never double up. It's ALWAYS fine. Forgetting a dose of SSRIs and related drugs for a day isn't really a reason to see a doctor. Now, two days - that's a different story.
Let me give you this pill.
But it causes this to happen.
In which case we will give you this pill.
But when those 2 pills are mixed it can make you feel bad.
So take this one too.
And so on...
Fuk pills. This happened to my wife. Started with treating migraines and 10 years later she is on 6 or 7 Rx's with more problems than when she started, she eventually ended up tin the ER over drug-induced pancreatitis.

I helped her drop them all, then we went to a nutritionist who determined she had some food allergies causing the migraines. She changed her diet and is feeling better than ever...
I can tell that all the advice being given to @benevolution about getting off meds is well intentioned and it may also be well informed. It may even be right; I don't know, and the truth is that no one out here knows. I'm all in favor of a thoughtful discussion about the way that our culture (over)prescribes medications, and it would be a discussion that hits home for me, as someone in my extended family is on god-knows-what and I worry about her endlessly. But at the same time I think it's unwise and perhaps even hurtful to tell someone, whose symptoms and conditions we don't know, what the best treatment for them is. Again, I know that everyone is trying to help; this site has a big heart. But if therapists, psychiatrists, healers, spiritual guides, etc wouldn't tell someone on an internet forum what therapy/meds are appropriate, maybe we shouldn't either.
I found your response, @benevolution, inspiring. Good luck!!!

@benevolution - only you know what your quality of life is on and off these meds, so please feel confident about your decisions regarding them. I appreciate other folks' views on natural and holistic methods, but sometimes no mater how hard you try and how much you want something other than need to work, they just don't.
Glad all went well last night
Peace and joy to you.
