Not scared to admit it. Which songs have brought you to tears? Live or just listening..
Off the top of my head:
Dirt
Bug
Diveded Sky

That was really poignant. Among the most emotional I ever recall being at a show.
During the First Tube encore at Super Ball, a single tear leaked out when I realized I had to go back to society the next dayFWIW, for me at least, that Festy Withdrawal Syndrome has lessened over the years, probably from repeated iterations.
Packing up and saying goodbye at the Clifford Ball was practically debilitating for our whole crew. By Superball, it was more matter of fact. Morning drinks and plenty of goofing around, clean up the site, lots of hugs, and on the road.

Shit, if Superball was my first I probably would have been pouring a foundation for a permanent residence by Sunday morning.
Not alot of people admit it but everyone in our group was crying by the end of coventry. I still do if wading in the velvet sea comes on.
I have have a few times, last I recall was Joy at Camden, not long after someone in my family passed.

Seriously though a few tunes can bring a teary eyed feeling to me. Joy is one I never want to hear live EVER.
strong men also cry, but if im standing next to a grown man sobbing through Joy or any song, im relocating toute suite
that would be more distracting than any drunk teen on their cell phone
velvet sea Coventry
Live versions that brought tears to my eyes :
-The set ending Squirming Coil from 7/1/2012
-The Corinna from 6/24/2012
Manly men,who would never let themselves cry, even tears of joy.
I have cried at pretty much all of the 80 or shows i've seen since the reunion.
I give all i can to the band.
I am totally unashamed,Phish is magic, the normal rules don't apply.
That was the only moment I cried at a live show. From time to time when I'm listening to a jam on my headphones and the music is perfect I'll shed a tear or two because there's no way anyone could ever say with words what they say with their music.
That's corny. I'm sorry.
Signd on Super ball first tube knowing it was ending and we had Togo back to real life. My only fest as well
Wow,there are a lot of really tough people on here.are you seriously criticizing people who do NOT cry at rock concerts? are you alleging that non-cryers do not "give their all" to the band? are you insane?

there is a vast middle ground between super tough manly men who can not cry and people who weep at every phish show they attend. both ends of that spectrum are equally and UTTERLY ridiculous. IMO, of course.
Curtain With at Deer Creek. Was really hoping for it + emotional times + emotional song + 2nd song slot at my first show= tearsi second that emotion
sidenote: pulling into a muddy spot and camping area at Coventry Friday morning put some tears in my eyes. We left, like Thursday afternoon and pulled into the grounds around 8am Friday morning. Mike had already made the announcement, it was raining/drizzly and there was no organization/structure/direction. Just cars pulling in wherever. We got to a spot, realized it was kind of wet, and realized we were locked in with no outlet. it sucked and I paniced a bit.

Wow. I didn't realize I was in the presence of such glorious winners. Johnnyd, what wil you do do when they stop selling Twinkies? Die of starvation in your mothers basement?I wasnt insulting you, that was just a joke, based on another comment in the thread. Actually intended with a built-in compliment as to being well prepared for shows. Sorry if it didnt come across that way.
Anyway, I was never a fan of twinkies at all. And my parents basement remains a pretty dope spot to hang out, given the right company.
