I don't get this. @theesloth won and I think he deserves the beer even if there is no round 4.Agreed... There will be a round 4 and if folks don't ship, then they'll be out and it just increases the odds of you winning. But you gotta ship to stay in the running. Just seems fair to me as well. Am I missing something?

As Jah as my witness there will be a round 4, and ideally there will be a beer lotto every 2 months.I dont plan on letting Beer Lotto die anytime soon.
But I thought we had a plan here - wait till said beer is shipped - start round 4.
I'll organize my thoughts later today and read back in this thread to see if I am missing anything.
I know there were a few that joined in late - and had to ship to get involved in Round 4.
I aslo understand some brians maybe melted and it takes a month to re-org.
I also get it when you are down to your last 40 bucks, and you say to yourself - man should I eat tonight, or send that f***ing asshole in NJ beer.
So pack your f***ing beer up and ship it!

Tonight I'm drinking.....
It was suggested to drink out of the glass and as I'm sipping it right now its everything I would expect from a Long Trail double IPA. Strong and hoppy while going down smooth. Its almost gone now and wish there was a few more bottles in the fridge!!
Sorry that I haven"t posted more reviews and i have drank some of your beers, but without the time to post...

OK Folks - who shipped beer, who didnt ship beer, who owes beer.Hey @theesloth - did you get everything you were supposed to get?
Would love to tighten this up so we can do it every quarter. Right now it has taken 5 days short of 2 months to get this done. I imagine by the time were good to go it will be a 3 month turnaround.
I'd like to tighten this up to a contest we can do every 2 months so folks can win some beer.
I have some ideas:
Make it a set cost - nail it down to $15 or $20, or 2 bombers, 4 12oz, etc.
Pay a penalty in beer if you dont ship your beer in alotted timeframe.
Once again I understand withy the NYE Run, life, the holidays, etc. Beer isnt the most important thing lately.
That being said - Beer is very important, and as a Winner of the Beer Lottery I can tell you there is no better feeling that getting a box a day for a month, and everyone is filled with beer. I want you to have that joy too!

There wasn't a set amount to send, just whatever you could manage at the time. But we should tighten it up a bit. The faster we do this, the faster the next person can win. I think everyone has had ample time to ship. I think we did the last one in November? It's February. There should be much public shaming for their wookery. There really is no valid excuse, other than being in a coma, for entering a contest and not living up to your word. I'm sure the scofflaws would have no problem receiving the beer if they were a winner. I know it takes roughly 10 minutes to pack the beer in a box and another 20 minutes or so (including commute time) to go to a UPS store to ship it. I think 2 months is plenty of time to take care of that even with a holiday tour thrown in the middle of it.
