Wait, is turkey really bad for my dogs? I didn't give them any but my dad kept trying. I kept saying no. Now I am worried he may have slipped them some.

BUT skin, excess fat, and bones in the meat can cause problems. bloat would be one issue with too much turkey. also the certain seasonings might have a particular impact so make sure you don't season it with things that can be bad for dogs (onions, garlic, etc.).

it is'nt that turkey is bad for dogs, its that a lot of dogs on thanksgiving get fed a good amount of fatty table scraps, and eating too much fat at one time like that can cause acute pancreatitis(bad). So you can feed your dog turkey, but moderation is key and avoid the extra fatty bits. (im a licensed veterinary technician)
