Jimmymac03 Wait, is turkey really bad for my dogs? I didn't give them any but my dad kept trying. I kept saying no. Now I am worried he may have slipped them some.

Keswick Theatre, Glenside, PA

Set 1: Buried Alive > Poor Heart, The Landlady, Fee[1] -> Maze, Sparkle > It's Ice > The Squirming Coil > Cavern, Sweet Adeline[2], Cavern > Run Like an Antelope[3]

Set 2: Chalk Dust Torture, Foam, Fast Enough for You, You Enjoy Myself, The Lizards[4], Tweezer -> Hold Your Head Up > Cracklin' Rosie > Hold Your Head Up, My Sweet One > Tweezer Reprise

Encore: Harry Hood, Carolina[2]

[1] Trey sang verses through megaphone.
[2] Without microphones.
[3] Simpsons signal.
[4] Stopped twice. Trey allegedly forgot the lyrics.

Notes: Trey sang the verses of Fee through a megaphone. Adeline and Carolina were performed without microphones. Antelope contained a Simpsons signal. Trey stopped Lizards after forgetting the lyrics.  He took advantage of the break to welcome his grandfather and explain to him that they don’t usually mess up like that.  Upon restarting the song, Trey realized that he still didn’t remember the second verse, so he stopped the song again and asked the audience for help.  During the second break, he explained the Big Ball Jam to the crowd and claimed that he didn’t really forget the words to Lizards, he just wanted to explain the Big Balls. Fish was introduced before Rosie as “Henrietta, Eyeball Man.” Before Hood, Trey noted: “Hope everyone has a nice day tomorrow. Don’t feed any turkey to your dog.”

from what i've read they can...just in small amounts. BUT skin, excess fat, and bones in the meat can cause problems. bloat would be one issue with too much turkey. also the certain seasonings might have a particular impact so make sure you don't season it with things that can be bad for dogs (onions, garlic, etc.).

Thanks! I don't feed them any human food really other than scraps they get off the floor from my daughter. My boxer has bad allergies so we just avoid exposing her to our food as much as possible.

it is'nt that turkey is bad for dogs, its that a lot of dogs on thanksgiving get fed a good amount of fatty table scraps, and eating too much fat at one time like that can cause acute pancreatitis(bad). So you can feed your dog turkey, but moderation is key and avoid the extra fatty bits. (im a licensed veterinary technician)

My dog just puked up turkey (that I'm sure my mom gave him against my wishes). That's why I'm up at 5 am.
