Could Mockingbird possibly get Phish to block off a section of the campground for .net ppl and their reasonably-sized crews? ...I'm sure donations could be involved somehow.It'd be great to have a huge rage station's worth of all you fine young cannibals instead of having to wander around or rely on the meetup (I sleep 'til like 4pm and don't get moving until after 8 during festies).

If you're speaking about Dasein as an entity, or a stand alone definition, it would be counter to the principle of Dasein to "do what Dasein says." However, if you're talking about Dasein as an inner meaning, the concept of Dasien states that one should always "do what Dasein says." Heidegger apparently loved this kind of thing.

I'm reading about The Clifford Ball, the Great went, and of course cypress right now; for the first time I get it man. My noobishness is offensive to those that have loved Phish for so long, they've seen changes that created a band that is different. I apologize for my insensitivity to this, I know how I felt when Metallica went "mainstream"; I know how I feel now when the greatest band I am aware of is synonomous with drug use rather than hardwork and supreme creation. Things change. I was kind of aggressively opposed to this viewpoint due to the fear of viewing these Phish as past their prime, but I don't think that it is the core issue here; I think folks had some of their most cherished memories in that time and in some ways it is dirtied by noobs like me and my ignorance to the "way it was" I've had an epiphany, rather than using "best defense is good offense" strategy, I'll use a passive strategy just thankful for this band, and this community. If Phish decides to grace us with a fest, I think we as lovers of their creations and sound need to show the band our excitement. I think the crowd needs to be more proactive in showing appreciation. I just read about flyers giving instructions to fans to "please" / "humor" the musicians.
Of the coolest things ive just read is this idea: When they play divided sky and trey pauses, sit down. Ha ha awesome. If they have a fest, we should show our appreciation in a big way. If The Lord sees fit I will be in attendance, perhaps anonymous, but certainly a part of the energy.

Its not there for any one person or particular group of people's own particular form of enjoyment; it's whatever the people that happen to show up make it out to be, whether they like it or not. It doesn't matter how many shows someone has seen or what they think the scene should look like; that kind of thing is the opposite of surrendering to the flow. Just do your thing man, don't worry what other people think. This shit should have as few rules and norms as possible.

QUIET TIME?!?!!? at a festival? come on ya fogies. You get 350+ days of "quiet time" per year. Now, if I'm dosed out of my ghord, I can't really speak anyways, let alone make my various grunts, puposeful hacks, jungle noises and the Hogchoker Mating Call. So if you want quiet time, you had better hope I'm flying through netherspace or something.
