These hippies come With guitar and drum
On tour as it is in Gamehendge.
Give this day our daily toke
And forgive us our WSP stats
As we forgive spreadheads that come to our Phish shows.
Lead us not into the Biscuits
And deliver us from Umphrey's
Yezturday
It'll be at least an hour before I can actually start working here in the office of derp. Hope everyone had a great holiday.
Off to a spectacular start with a force shutdown/restart, then a fire alarm.
Slightly over an hour later, ready to start doing something.
In astounding news, I didnt tack on any #s over the weekend. Slaving away for my parents clearly paid off!
Time for me to do the snow tires too. Our road has taken on the coated ice consistency that we can expect more or less through March, interspersed with fresh pow, moderately gritty dirt coating, and mud bog...
Drag to be at work. Started off with a bang. My productivity train derailed after 2 hours. Sigh.
Feeling good none the less.
Back to the grind grind grind grind grind grind griiiiiiiiiiiind
Damn. Calf is blown pretty good, huh?Yup, I am pretty bummed out about it. I was just hitting a nice schedule and boom. My bro who was a sports medicine guy in school thought I was just at a type two sprain with some partial tearing. His thought was a month to six weeks before I am doing what I was the day I injured myself. So I have to continue going to xfit just cant do the full workouts. The trainer/owner of the gym has been emailing me all weekend asking me how I am doing and telling me how he can adjust my routine, which is pretty cool IMHO. So I am going to skip again today and get the tires done and go tomorrow which will be 5 full days away from major activity. What I cant do is continue RICE'n it due to being at work.

We are supposed to get another coating to 2 inches tomorrow, and with my trip up to VT 12/14 or 12/15 I figured now was a good time. I hope I dont miss my summer tires to much.
I managed to plug my kitchen sink on Saturday night with 10 pounds of potato peels. I felt like the garbage disposal could handle them. Need to meet the RotoRooter guy this afternoon for a good rooting.
Gm.net does anyone else dispise the sound snow makes when you walk on it, that crunch noise? Also wish I had an automatic start for my car .. But I'm thankfull just to have one.. It's officially winter
So I'm going to Monday Night Football tonight. Free tickets. It will be nice to get back into the stadium (I haven't been to a game in a few years), even if the outcome means nothing.
Yesterday I saw something that I've never seen before- some guy blow drying his ass.
I'm ok without a autostart for the car. What I wish, though, was that I could set up the keyless entry that I have for the car on my house. This shouldn't be that difficult. Put a little electronic gizmo on my keychain that allows me to push a button and unlock my front door instead of having to get the key out while I'm holding 18 bags and trying to keep 2 children from playing in traffic. THAT would be helpful. You know, they probably already have this. Maybe I should actually, you know, look for it before complaining that it doesn't exist. That wouldn't be my style, though. I'm sort of a "jump in head first" complainer.
And, no body answered my question from last night:
Question: Ed Rooney or Walter Peck? Who's the better comedic foil?
It's got to be Rooney just based on screen time I guess, but Peck kills every scene he's in.
For those of you who didn't see them last night, I also got these back:

KMS
Decorating my house would be so much easier if I was the only one that lived there.
Sign'd on loving the sound of snow.
I hate the sound my ass makes when I blow-dry it while walking through snow.
Ed Rooney > Walter Peck. He was so funny he got an extended scene through the credits.
7/6/94 is an awesome Reba, solid A. Rest of that show also kills.
@Conphucius is there a story behind the ass drying or are you just dropping that gem & moving on?
I say Walter Peck > Ed Rooney. Poor Ed was just trying to do his job & it makes me feel bad for him
@johnnyd everyone should have some Paul Anka in their life. The first time I saw him I knew he was my future ex husband. Lurk'd
One thing I missed was a Thanksgiving meal! Publix was closed when I got there so I had nachos and Coronas from the gas station!
I have got nothing... that's a weird statement. How do you have nothing, possess nothing. The combination of words conflict with logic. or something like that.
nevermind.
I've got nothing. I've been trying to think of something to say in this here gm.net thread and I've got nothing.good thought.

Pretty hilarious.
Easing into my Monday... I close on my house (the one I am buying) on Friday, so I am coordinating the movers, closing times, etc. Stressful, but exciting. The end of a very long and difficult two years.
Holiday was fun stuff, especially for the kids. No major injuries is always a good thing....
@Conphucius is there a story behind the ass drying or are you just dropping that gem & moving on?Something I saw in the health club locker room- 60 year old dude standing there naked, using the hair dryer to dry his ass.
I guess this is something people do.

Or maybe it just feels nice. Even better than putting on jeans fresh out of the warm dryer, I bet...

Thanksgiving is over and now its back to all the stuff i neglected to do during thanksgiving weekend.Samesies.
I can understand wanting hot air to dry hair on your head, but I would think cool air would be more refreshing for accelerated ass drying. I imagine one of these would work nicely:That would probably get the job done.

BTW, do you know anything about the Sennheiser MM 400x? link here, FYI. Just wanted some input before I drop some cash for a pair.
I have a 15 year old pair of Sennheisers that I just sent back to have refurbished, they came back perfect. I have never used a wireless set before but if the quality of mine is any indication I would bet you are fine. I would want to try them in person if possible though. Thanks!
In the little bit of reading I did "aptX" bluetooth seems to be important, like it's better than other varieties of the technology. I think the Galaxy S3 supports aptX, so that sounds like a plus if you plan to use the headphones with your phone.
@mfhgreyboy - I haven't heard that particular model, but Sennheiser makes pretty consistently good products. Definitely try them out before buying if you can. There's only so much about sound quality that can be gleaned from descriptions/reviews.I've yet to hear anything particularly bad about Sennheiser. The S3 support is a big factor. I'm thinking about ditching my ipod and this seems like an awesome set-up. I think the "aptX" has something to do with running bluetooth without the accompanying loss that normally occurs, but I could be way off.

I am SO annoyed with people who are trying to "upgrade" their YEMSG tickets. Don't they realize that once you are inside the building, it doesn't matter? They should just sell their 400 section seats to me and get good karma for the year.
/end rant
Disclaimer -- I am in a bad mood...I don't disagree with that at all.
