Yup, I am pretty bummed out about it. I was just hitting a nice schedule and boom. My bro who was a sports medicine guy in school thought I was just at a type two sprain with some partial tearing. His thought was a month to six weeks before I am doing what I was the day I injured myself. So I have to continue going to xfit just cant do the full workouts. The trainer/owner of the gym has been emailing me all weekend asking me how I am doing and telling me how he can adjust my routine, which is pretty cool IMHO. So I am going to skip again today and get the tires done and go tomorrow which will be 5 full days away from major activity. What I cant do is continue RICE'n it due to being at work.

We are supposed to get another coating to 2 inches tomorrow, and with my trip up to VT 12/14 or 12/15 I figured now was a good time. I hope I dont miss my summer tires to much.

mfhgreyboy Permalink
mfhgreyboy I actually love the sound of walking on fresh snow.

I'm ok without a autostart for the car. What I wish, though, was that I could set up the keyless entry that I have for the car on my house. This shouldn't be that difficult. Put a little electronic gizmo on my keychain that allows me to push a button and unlock my front door instead of having to get the key out while I'm holding 18 bags and trying to keep 2 children from playing in traffic. THAT would be helpful. You know, they probably already have this. Maybe I should actually, you know, look for it before complaining that it doesn't exist. That wouldn't be my style, though. I'm sort of a "jump in head first" complainer.

And, no body answered my question from last night:

Question: Ed Rooney or Walter Peck? Who's the better comedic foil?

It's got to be Rooney just based on screen time I guess, but Peck kills every scene he's in.

For those of you who didn't see them last night, I also got these back:

chris200w @mfhgreyboy - I haven't heard that particular model, but Sennheiser makes pretty consistently good products. Definitely try them out before buying if you can. There's only so much about sound quality that can be gleaned from descriptions/reviews.

In the little bit of reading I did "aptX" bluetooth seems to be important, like it's better than other varieties of the technology. I think the Galaxy S3 supports aptX, so that sounds like a plus if you plan to use the headphones with your phone.

I've yet to hear anything particularly bad about Sennheiser. The S3 support is a big factor. I'm thinking about ditching my ipod and this seems like an awesome set-up. I think the "aptX" has something to do with running bluetooth without the accompanying loss that normally occurs, but I could be way off.

I just did a little bit of reading about apt-X. I guess it's a compression algorithm that can do higher bit rates than other algorithms used with bluetooth. It won't do lossless quality, but it sounds like a definite step up over other bluetooth.
