I'm a big fan of 11.28.09 but I loved 12.29.11 because it was a throwback YEM, it had the feel of a YEM from 1998, thick, soupy and funky.

I'm with the 12/29/11 people, but I was there and that's the only YEM I've seen so I'm probably biased.P.S. nice to see @Looks2Much around again.

8/19/12 BGCA is the best YEM of the year, with 6/23/12 Star Lake running second.I'm surprised that no one mentioned 8/16/11 UIC, one of Trey's better YEM solos of 3.0.
10/23/10 Amherst is no Chuckston, but it does have a great bass/drums section.
5/31/11 Holmdel has some great Page on the B-3, and downright nasty Mike in the bass/drums.
7/2/10 Charlotte is my favorite 3.0 vocal jam, and I like the silliness of 8/14/09 Hartford and 12/31/10 MSG.
Haven't heard 12/4/09 yet, I will be checking it out.

12/4/09 has some of the funkiest grooves this side of '97 during the last few minutes. Trey and Mike lock into this staccato interplay that I wish would go on for an hour. Bit of a sloppy start but the jam takes off around 10 mins and doesn't look back.12/31/10 gets the honorable mention

Bill Graham!!!! *bias* But that entire show, Trey really let Mike & Page steer. Even more evident from this YEM. Solo was very understated and left room for Mike & Phish to go crazy.
UIC was another great one...awesome solo, awesome vocal too...

2. I think the boys really bring the energy for the Oooh Boy! part
3. Random placement in set II
4. cool vocal jam
5. I've seen better YEMs like UIC which was awesome as well but it's my opinion biiiiiitch
