PT is pretty brutal sometimes... ok most of the time. I don't think many of the threads on PT would fly on .net. Spend a couple of minutes on there and you'll know what I'm talking about. That said I read it all the time.

I've been lurkin PT for about a month now, I'm actually surprised (in a good way) at some of the posts there, a bunch of them are actually good people. The green board ain't all shitholes, though they are there. .Net is much more of an intimate experience while PT is like a clusterf*** of phans, each got their pros and cons. I'm mainly over there late night or whenever this board gets too slow, though I have yet to post yet, think I'll lurk for a lil while longer...

I'm going to be open and honest here for a moment. I used to hate PT. The trolling, the negativity, the anti-Phish comments. I just didn't get it and refused to be a part of it. However, for the last many months I feel that that brand of negativity has been popping up more and more on .net and that is why I started wandering over there. I figured if I was going to deal with a bunch of asshats I might as well see whats up with PT. What I found was a pretty decent board once you ignore the idiots. For some reason it is easier for me to ignore the idiots there than it is for me to ignore them here. I guess .net was my first you know? I wanted it to be perfect

Overall, I find PT more interesting when I'm looking to waste some serious time on the internet. The quality of content is generally lower over there than it is here, but there's always something to read. On .net, I often get finished ignoring all the ticket threads and football threads and whatever else I'm not interested in and find that there's not really much left if I'm just looking to read something.
But as a community, .net wins hands down. I've posted maybe once or twice on PT, and I'm not interested in participating any more than that. This site is the one where I'm familiar with the majority of the regular members and feel like my voice is heard at least to some degree. I don't think I would ever get that out of PT.
