On tour as it is in Gamehendge.
Give this day our daily toke
And forgive us our WSP stats
As we forgive spreadheads that come to our Phish shows.

And deliver us from Umphrey's

I am playing beat the clock with my mortgage broker, attorney and livelihood. I am supposed to close on Friday on my new house, and (as expected) there are 11th hour issues. Fingers and toes crossed that I will still close on my house Friday!!!!

@KimboSlice - Feel better! @cupuscakus is right, honey is the way to go. My Rx is always green tea with mint and healthy amounts a shit ton of honey. Amazing how much better it makes a sore throat feel. And I don't even like tea.
Awesome pic on the front page of the Starlight Theater! I really hope the Phish come back to KC and play there. Such a cool venue.Love the pic. Especially the girl in the orange. I think we all can relate to that feeling.

Heat broke in my apartment two days ago. Went to bed shivering last night, and woke up sweating this morning...what a relief. My landlord said he would "work something out for this month's rent." I don't know quite how much that means, but I hope he gives me a good deal.
Been thinking a lot about the NYE run. Last year, my friend and I bought scalped tickets outside the venue, proceeded to get celebratory beers and drop some doses. Upon walking through the gate, I was the only one with a real ticket. Real bummer. This year we are back in action and I scored two through the re-release. Problem is, New Year's day is a huge drinking day and I am a bartender. I have a 9.00am train to Philadelphia on Jan 1 to get to work by noon. I am not looking forward to having to keep NYE in such moderation, but I am going to have to.
Hope everyone is well. It's hump day!! Week is almost over...

Unfortunately for me today I was unable to construct two PB and J's with equal amounts of PB, the quandary lives another day.
happy b-day @spencur6, your almost there, your doin fine.....
Happy 20th, @spencur6!
@KimboSlice- Feel better! Drink a lot of tea; if you have any honey handy then go ahead and take a spoonful! That will help soothe your throat and aide in the destruction of the badass bacteria that is making you whisper.
@cupuscakus, CONGRATS on the (potential) house closing! You go girl!
I'm heading to Charlottesville after work today for some DSO--Whoop-Whoop!
Another PB and J quandary. @Jayem made a good point a few weeks ago that the extra protein from the PB and J with more PB on it is the way to go for the morning PB and J, and save for after noon the PB an J with less PB on it. I am in the process of adopting a method in hopes that when I am forced to make PB and J at 5 in the morning that I make them both with equal amounts of PB and J so much of my day isn't consumed by what seems like a rudimentary question but in reality is quite complex physiologically speaking.Personally- I would go with more protein later. Since protein repairs tissue- more is needed (to an extent) later in the day because your tissue is likely to be more worn (however- I'm sure the differences on a sandwich are negligible). I lean towards pyramiding protein and reverse pyramiding carbs.
Unfortunately for me today I was unable to construct two PB and J's with equal amounts of PB, the quandary lives another day.
Picking up my "Enjoy By" today- thanks for the link!
They accused me of selling music to the students!!! They said "why else would anyone have over 800 GBs of music?"That. Is. Awesome! Terrible they are making false accusations, though. But, nevertheless AWESOMESAUCE.

Currently jamming to 10/26/10 -- using Google CLOUD (NO MORE NETWORK!!)
I am SOOOOO mortified. My district technology team just paid me a visit to tell me that I am using the most storage space on the network out of any employee in the city. They accused me of selling music to the students!!! They said "why else would anyone have over 800 GBs of music?"So much for the Funk Fest!

When I started here at work I was dling a bunch of music and unfortunately I was saving it to "my documents" which, apparently, aren't "my" documents at all, but rather are stored on a shared drive.
Several months back I got a similar call..."would you mind deleting some stuff from your 'my documents' folder we're trying to clean up this shared drive to create some additional space and you have a folder "Music" that seems to be a culprit."
After my heart skipped a beat I just transferred everything to my c: drive. And I'm working my way through that funk thread today.
I probably should reconsider this practice.

Edit: I don't get the joke of implying you are breaking federal copyright laws, that's just me.

@twisty_m allow me to direct your attention to this for a little pre-show warm up to keep the excitement high ---> DSO in C-ville::Mouth drops::
No. Way.
I haven't used Google Cloud. I'm not even exactly sure how to use any cloud. It's a fantastic service if you aren't an "all apple" type person. Particularly if you have an android smart phone and want to stop carrying around an ipod as well. It's fairly easy to use, although the initial set up can take quite some time. Let us know if you need some help setting it up, there are PLENTY of people around here who use google music. Free storage for your first 20,000 songs.
@twisty_m said:My ipod doesn't even hold half of my music! It is pretty annoying to keep having to manually upload my music. How do you pick, you know? I'm going to read up on this some more today. Thank you for the offer in helping out- and everyone- because I'll definitely accept it, and most likely need it.I haven't used Google Cloud. good morning you fine folks of .net..nothing crazy on the menu today..just going to pick up a space heater for Mrs Forbin..her home office is downstairs..which is the coldest part in the house...so to keep her and the bun warm..I've been directed to purchase some sort of appliance that will do the trick..
Happy birthday to @Spencur6 and to @jaydubya's son
Stay Frosty!
@forbin1 - The best kind of portable heaters are those infrared ones. I have an EdenPure that I have been trying to get rid of...any interest in striking a deal?
