I saw him at Nectar's last spring when my daughter was touring colleges. The whole family went to the show and had burgers and gravy fries. Seth put on a great show and was very personable with a lot of banter with the small crowd. At break he came over and sat down with us...nice gesture. Great person and down to earth. Even played Bird Song after he asked my daughter which Dead song he should play in the second set. Here's to you Seth and seeing you in 98 and now.
I was at that show. Will never forget Layla
I was at that show. Will never forget LaylaNice we were the family at the table by the stage. Had a great time. Just happened to be playing and we were looking for food and things to do. We stayed at the Courtyard Marriott overnight so my daughter could see the school and the program there. Had a kick ass breakfast at the Skinny Pancake.
Is this the same daughter thats doing the vet/farming program?
I used to see SY play pretty regularly about 10-15 yrs ago when I lived in central VT. He was all over the place. I was at the Worcester show too. Not my favorite sit-in, but hey, great gesture by the band.
Where'd she end up going?Yup...same daughter...she ended up at Umass/Amherst. UVM was up there in choice, but too small and the Umass Marching Band was a big part of her decision. Really love playing in a big band.

That last 98 Worceter show was ok...had a fun run though because my wife's brother lived with us then and we hit all 3 shows together...all 20 mins from home!
