I covered that festival twice when I was a music columnist for the Berkshire Eagle. Cool fest, but Mass MoCA is the shit! Great museum to check out while Jeff "I'm better than you" Tweedy and Co. bore the hell out of the crowd.

In 2011 Levon Helm played and I got to meet him there. He was definitely not doing well, but still played one of the more memorable sets I've seen non-Phish/Phil.

Be careful in North Adams. Place is PACKED full of drug addicts and opiate pills. Everyone does this stuff called opana. Be careful is all I will say. I lived there for a few years and the town itself is a massive shithole. Solid Sound is the only cool thing ever to happen there.

Also, the cops are pricks. Shakedown central. I hope only those damn hipsters get busted with their designer drugs and thick black-rimmed glasses!! MUHAHAHAHAHAHA!
