EDIT:
That Atlanta show (2011.6.15) where they had to stop playing mound must have been pretty wild.
Heat wise alpine this year was the hottest show that I have ever been at, mabey Superball day set really can't remember. Have never seen them while raining
I was at this one, a well-known bad weather show.

I take it you didn't go to Creek this summer then

It was rough man, really tested how much I love the Phish. I seriously considered skipping the second night cause I had such intense heat exhaustion, that rain storm was a life saver though.
All time, probably G. Dead 6-30-95 Pittsburgh or 7-29-94 Buckeye Lake.
The Dead shows were of the "awesome" variety. The Phish show, not so much. It sucked.
The show was played in a total downpour and the amphitheater was apparently not built to handle that kind of weather. Before the first set, Trey remarked that the staff was talking about canceling the show due to the danger of electrocution. “I told ‘em, ‘f*** that. Put the plug up my ass and count out Llama!’” said Trey
CRAZY DOWNPOUR (worse than 6/23/94- was at that too). It was at a ski resort, people were "sledding" down the hill on cardboard boxes.
I was at this one, a well-known bad weather show. 1997-07-22I was at this gig and I'm sure we had lawn seats, but I have no memories of this gig whatsoever!! lol...
I remember 6.18.94 like yesterday, though.
No one has said the Ohio show with the tornado warning? Sample opener, and then the band announced everyone would have to return to their cars because of a tornado nearby. I guess some people stayed put, but we retired for some festivities in the old van. After a while, the skies cleared and everyone walked back into the show, no tickets necessary.
The Jones Beach 09 Friday show was my worst weather show. It didn't matter, Phish was back.
But there was so much fun during the pregame - the rain was saoking down on folks in the upper lots and most of us took cover in the woods staying tight to the big trees and their canopies. What could be more fun than drinkin/smokin in the rain. I felt like i was 14.
I do remeber an epic rainfall during Tweezer - but not 100% sure.
Fun on the LAWN!
Deer creek this summer was a feat of endurance
Certainly not "worst ever" territory, but damn, that was an ill-timed soaker.
I'm still not over macho grande. That's probably the worst I've personally experienced for phish.
Raleigh 97 we were out in the lots. Set up some tarps and were hooking up those less prepared than us with hot chocolate and soup. That wasn't really that bad.
Jones Beach Friday '09 I was all layered up and prepared and chalked it up to a pleasant drizzle. Such a fun night.
Superball day set? C'mon. That was a gorgeous afternoon in the sun.
Outside of phish, for epically biblical rain and life threatening 360 lightning, its Camp Biscos XIII and IV.
And one year we hit Igloofest in Montreal it was like -25 air temp. That was just ridiculous. Layers, dancing, and body heat only could do so much. (By contrast, we've been there in 0 degree weather and its seemed downright pleasant.)
this is why i like indoor phish11/14/96 has to be in the running for worst weather indoor show. It was a sleeting ice storm on lot and after the show everything was covered with a 1/2 inch of ice. All of those spun w00ks trying to drive on sheet ice was frightening. They cut the show short because of the weather.
We rotated in and out of the cars to stay warm while tailgating.
Darien 9-14-00. It poured from the moment suzy started until around the middle of drowned. I've never been so wet and cold in my life. I was sick for a week afterwards.
But this show rocked, I wouldn't have left for the world.

Worcester 12.28 and 29.95 was cold as balls. We rotated in and out of the cars to stay warm while tailgating.Second that. Didn't have a car, spent a lot of time in that mall right by Centrum. SOOOO damn cold.
Not the worst by any means but fun - either 2011-05-31 or 2011-06-01

Yes! It started right when they opened with tweezer. It was cool cuz of the lyrics "It's gonna be cold, cold, cold, cold

That downpour got me into the show for face after I watched 5 different people pay $100+ on the lot for lawns.
I was in line at the ticket window when the storm hit and almost everyone ran off. The window opened when the show started and I got the last one of 10 tickets they sold. A very well-timed soaker that got me back on the train again.

After a while, the skies cleared and everyone walked back into the show, no tickets necessary. 2000-07-14I don't remember them telling anyone to go back to their cars, and I don't remember anyone really leaving. Just seemed to me that every person on the lawn found a way to get into the pavlion, except me and a few other hundred people who decided to enjoy the storm.
@freerwilson - nice. I actually didnt totally recover from that one. I had no layers, and caught a little chill. Kinda danced it off, but never totally shook it that night. Rare case of not being as prepared as I should have been, but honestly, got lulled into complacency by like 5 hrs of tailgating in that beautiful park on what up til then was a perfect day.I haven't seen his paintings, but they must be good if they look similar. The avatar is a photo of the Grand Prismatic Spring in Yellowstone. One of my favorite places to go hang out in the park.

WOW, I remember hearing about that last year. totally forgot. Looks like fun.It wasn't, mainly because the second set kinda sucked

Drove to that show from Colorado in that heat wave with broke air conditioning bought a huge bag of ice and used it to stop everyone in my car from having heat stroke. I remember it being 95 at 11 o clock. there was a wind storm during day 2 and then a lighting storm at night. Alpine was also not much better heat wise. lets just say jones beach was quite refreshing after that midwest heat.
