The Roggae Jamming Chart is now up on the site. Up until late 2000, the jam section of Roggae was played in a generally consistent and similar manner. Since then, the jam section has become more interesting and varied. To view the Jamming Chart for Roggae, go to the Jamming Charts page, or simply click here. Enjoy. You, sir, have entered Beast mode.

Sorry, but I think there's a glaring omission here -- the Roggae from 10/31/98 is just blissful and I know there's a lot of other fans of this version, too.

What other jamming charts are left Free definitely needs one
@Dog_Faced_Boy - If 8/17/93 isn't presently in bold-face on the Divided Sky jamming chart, then I recommend some remedial listening before that chart is ready to go public.

Just wondering if anyone else was on board with my thoughts of the 10/31/98 as an exceptional reading worth noting?
I've spent many a summer's night (at dusk) listening to that version, and the final 4:30 just seems so suited as a soundtrack for a sunset.
@ProfPhan - 10/31/98 is a great version, but it's also very typical compared to most other versions from this period. Listen to 11/20/98, for example, and I think you'll find the jam at this point was fairly standard. It really wasn't until late 2000 when the band started to experiment with the jam section and differentiate. The Jam Chart illustrates versions that are noticeably different from a "standard, typically great" version. Hope that helps. If you still feel strongly that 10/31/98 should be added, let me know. Thanks for your response.

"ROGGAEEEEE!"
That little melody that Trey rocks in that version just does it for me every time.
Thanks for the chart.

Because I agree with @Dog_Faced_Boy, in that I don't think 10/31/98 is even a noteworthy version of Roggae *for 1998*, much less in Phish history. And Roggae is among my favorite Phish songs, so I tend to love all versions.
You are an animal, @Dog_Faced_Boy.I believe he's technically part animal, part boy...
Thanks.

My goodness, the 2/26/03 Roggae is a thing of beauty. The jam sounds like it could have been pulled straight from a version of Crazy Fingers. (And yes, I am well aware of the similarities between LimbxLimb, Taste, and CF - but with the slower tempo and just a bit of shuffle to the rhythm, this sounds more like CF, imo.)
Anyway, I never would have thought to pay so much attention to an 8 1/2 minute version of Roggae without your chart. THANK YOU, @dog_faced_boy!
