You can't type in the name of an album any more and zoom straight to it (for example, if you search "Phish" and type in 1997 to zoom straight to the things with the title 1997). You have to manually scroll around to find it. Also, the way they do two columns for every album is relatively stupid-looking to me.
But I really like how you can search things and further categorize from there (for example, type in "Phish" and further go into MGB or TAB or Vida Blue from there). And I like how you can see the album artwork for EVERYTHING!
I kinda think this is a product of how often people say that things are outdated just because they aren't changed; iTunes 10 was perfect to me, I definitely think it was ruined with iTunes 11.
Thoughts?
Edit: I'm definitely reinstalling iTunes 10 on my computer.
And I like how you can see the album artwork for EVERYTHING!can you upload a screenshot? that sounds awesome.
@jerryguscia said:What I meant is, if you looked at Phish Destroys America in iTunes 10, it wouldn't have shown an album cover because it's only 4 songs. But in iTunes 11, it does. I like that because I LOVE album art and sometimes, you only want one or two songs from a show (if you're low on space or have duplicates). And I like how you can see the album artwork for EVERYTHING!can you upload a screenshot? that sounds awesome.
My biggest gripe is that when I am in the library, and I then click on something else (i.e. store), the library hasn't saved my spot anymore when I go back. It goes back to the top.
still won't play FLAC=still a faillol. There have been plug-ins for both Windows and Mac for a long time that allow iTunes to play straight up FLAC files. Or as @ledzepmaster said, just convert to ALAC.

Haven't update my iTunes in like three years just always hit ignore, i love the simpler looking I tunes and I'm not a fan of change in my life I love constants
How do you get iTunes 10 back? I hate the new version too, can't see playlists and songs at the same time, just really sh*tty layout.
Also what's a good plug-in to play FLACs through iTunes? That's news to me...

I don't like it at all.
It looks kindof cool but its functionality went way down for me.

Still buying an iPhone 5.
thank you @andrewrose! That did work, though I had to option launch to choose a previous library since iTunes 11 had created the current one. Everything's in there though and the evil update is GONE, hooray!
