Getting an iPod dedicated just to phish!

HarryHood420 Permalink
HarryHood420 160gb of pure phish. You guys have any links to where I can download massive amounts of shows at once? I'll definetly check out the spreadsheet for sure but I want a huge collection of just shows from anywhere.

ypehmish Though I don't condone it, and you should throw $ at the band for downloads, but my great uncles cousins nephews 2nd wifes step daughter said torrent sites are good place to start.

andrewrose LivePhish and the sreadsheet are honestly your best bets. If you just dump one massive collection on there from somewhere you'll have little context to dive into it. My advice is to enjoy the process and not just put a ton of gigs on there at once because you can. Go nuts amassing a list of which shows you have to have / check out, and then cross that against the LivePhish catalog, and then the spreadsheet, and get downloading. One nice feature of the spreadsheet is that it'll indicate if a soundboard/matrix is available. If you want to get really nerdy about it you can even create/assign artwork particular to the show in question. Not that I've spent hours doing that for the 100portable gigs I've amassed or anything ... Just don't upgrade to iTunes 11. Jerks removed all ability to view embedded album artwork on your iPod from iTunes. But I digress.

ProfJibboo 30gb's of phish on my iphone....I tried to use up all 32 gbs, but it turns out the phone has to use those 2 gbs to function. Plus I had to make room for the livephish app.

I am completely unbothered by the 22 Joys that I have downloaded onto it.

joonze for the price on an ipod 160 gb (228.00) on amazon you can get 2 3TD hard drives 3TB Hard Drive at amazon in download ever show available on bt.etree.org Phish AUDs and still only fill one of the drives with 16bit flac files. You can then upload that music to googles music cloud to stream via a smart phone/iphone and not use all your phones memory or listen from any internet connected devise. This will allow you to have both a flac file (master) and a compressed mp3 (via google).
or just buy one of the hard drives and spend the money saved if you must have soundboards...

I personally love AUDs and the quality of 3.0 is out of this world in AUD recordings. etree is also a legal site for free downloading of band approved recordings free for trade.

Harry__Hood95 I sincerely hope the OP already has an iPod and realizes that there are hundreds of bands besides the phish that rock pretty hard and deserve to be listened to. I've always thought that one thing that sets phish fans apart from a lot of other bands devotees is our appreciation of other music and genres.

Fact- My ipod is only loaded with Phish. Not all of my shows either. I still haven't loaded the 2nd leg from 2012. I have to delete others first but I can't bare to. But, I only have a 32gb, not a 160. You go, boy!
