This is seriously for a friend...A buddy of mine is traveling back from NYC on Amtrak this weekend and is trying to get bud back. Is this easy? I know train security can be hit or miss but what should he do?

@mattsox94 I had very small amount with me on the train from New Haven to NYC for NYE last year. No dogs or searches and that was NYE. Shouldn't be an issue.

I would find it hard to believe that this would be an issue. As long it's wrapped well and not overwhelmingly obvious I think he'd be fine.

New years day last year i was waiting to board my train in line and there was a dog and a cop standing next to the line, had about an 8th and was shitting myself even though it was sealed to the teeth. Just dont act sketchy!

If you see a dog at a train or bus, his job is not to find drug dealers or users; his job is to maintain safety. I would bet $1,000,000 that a k-9 could give two shits about a pound. What he cares about are explosive, biological, radioactive, and chemical components.

I imagine the dogs are trained for explosives and weapons. The dogs are also taught to ignore until instructed by their handler. He can't be instructed unless there is a reason, so don't give them a reason. Desperate need of a rookie meme here.
