Do you look like you listen to Phish?

Outside of shows, I probably did in HS and in college. These days I dress more like a 3.0 Trey.. flannels/button downs, jeans/khakis, worn shoes, etc, minus the beard, long hair, and glasses (except at night!!) The weekends you may spot me with a phish shirt, most of them ambiguous to non-phan eye. I guess in short, my answer is no ha.

Not really no not into the hemp the tie die stuff, more of a tour shirt fan that fans would realize and jeans or cords. Phans can spot other phans so I don't feel like I need to make a statement with my fashion

I've given up trying to identify phish fans by appearance. Seen plenty who "have" to be fans who aren't, and many who "can't" be fans, but are.

Unless you're wearing some type of Phish apparel, I'm not making any assumptions.

I don't look anything like people imagine a phish phan looks like: a wook, essentially. Ironically, most of the young wooks in my neighborhood have no idea who phish is, yet they would fit in a phish crowd perfectly.

Usually I just wear t-shirts and jeans when I go to class, sometimes I'll throw a phish shirt. When i am at work I need to wear the company polo or t-shirt. At work we talk about music and last summer I said I was going a phish show and the response I got from co-workers was you don't look or act like a hippie.

I wear a button down, tie, and khakis everyday for school (dress code) but I usually wear flannels and jeans when not in school. I've been told it makes me look like a hippie but I don't think it does.

I rock the dress shirt and tie to work everyday, but wear my flag pretty high.
I just bought two phish hats off dry goods and my brother was like, "dude, u sure u wanna do that?"
Screw it, I'm sick of hiding it. and I got a mean beard too.
If anything, its helped me link up with business folks who are down. (old deadheads in remission)

I've been asked if I'm a cop a few times when purchasing certain items I don't think I look like a cop but at same time it's an advantage because the real cops don't think twice when I walk by while others get stereotyped

I don't so much think that the Phish crowd has a look anymore. That being said, I have not looked like the stereotypical Phish fan since I cut all my hair off in the late 90's. If I have recently cut my hair now, I will often get at least one person at any show telling me I look like Moby.

Funny question. I don't think that I do, but there is always a pretty clear connection (head nod and affirming glance) from other fans that I meet in non-phish environments. I guess I give off "the vibe" or something.

I would have to say yes...much more tame than when i had hemp and bells and shells tied in my hair, though. But i have the long hair, little to no make-up, and my dress code for work is generally t shirt n jamma pants. I've been here so long i hardly own normal clothes. Summer is always skirts n dresses... yes... yes i do...

Scrubs by day (with Phish Tshirts under them almost every day) and said shirts on at shows. And my Fishdress knee highs and bandana at shows. Braids. I probably resemble one at shows, mainly. Unless anyone at work recognizes "Esquandolas" on my Tshirt, which I doubt will happen since I work with 75% black women.

very good question. I've been told by people (who live by the foolish stereotype of what Phish fans are like) things like "Wow you listen to Phish? But you have short hair. And there is gel in there. And you have a collared shirt and khakis."

So no i dont look like the stereotype
