So what constitutes a "Guilty Pleasure" song? I guess that depends on who you are and who you hang around with. To me a Guilty Pleasure song is a song you like (duh), and if it comes on the radio while you're alone you would crank it up. But, if you and a few friends were in the car together you would quietly let it be. In other words, you would be mortified if somebody caught you listening to it.
In no particular order 3 of mine are:
1) Like A Prayer (Madonna) - Sue me I love this song. It just came on the radio today and I cranked it. It's also what made me think of creating this thread. If my brother or anybody else was in the car with me I would have popped a CD in. (or maybe played it until they didn't notice).
2) Total Eclipse Of The Heart (Bonnie Tyler) - Again, sue me. I love this song too. It has one of the most addictive "hooks" of any tune ever written. It strikes a nerve in me for whatever reason, and I don't give a flying f*** what you say I still like it.
3) Dope Show (Marilyn Manson) - I hate this asshole...severely...but I jam this song when and if I ever hear it come on. There's something infectious about it that makes me want to make my voice do "that" and sing along.
Don't be shy dot net, call yourself out. In front of everybody.
What are your Guilty Pleasure songs?
Any Alanis Morissette.
Any Alanis Morissette.I'll come up front and say I LOVE Alanis Morrisette. I think Jagged Little Pill is by far one of the best albums of the '90s. Pure genius.
Sorry to sidetrack my own thread.
timbuk3 (try it, you'll like it)
garth brooks (yes, that garth brooks)
Yea, I'm serious.
Anything Young Jeezy too. I'm a pretty big hip hop fan, at least when it comes to old school. Not of fan of the mainstream crap, specifically Southern Crunk Rap like Jeezy, but for some reason the guy cracks me up.
Journey: Don't stop believing
Taylor Swift: We are never ever, ever, getting back together (or whatever the name of the tune is). You wouldn't believe the gay shit people in jail watch and listen to. Straight gangsters were walking around singing this song all last month. It's in my head all day, every day now.
I can only think of two right now. I'm sure the Taylor Swift song can act as two.
One in a Million - Guns n Roses
Not because I think GnR is cheesy or anything, I stand behind liking them.
The thing is, that song rocks, but the lyrics contain some hateful, despicable sentiments.
Paul Anka covering Smells Like Teen Spirit. See reason for #1
probably any Kenny Loggins song. Except that Pooh Corner shit. I have to draw the line somewhere
REO Speedwagon - Time for me to fly.
Bad Company - Feel like making love.
All 3 are high volume when I'm alone songs.
Taylor Swift, but I rock that shit with my homies
Lately, I have been hearing a lot of BeeGees on the radio and they are AWESOME, so I know listen to them via Youtube
Joy - PhishI'm going to be going to my parents house and taking the Bee Gees LP's.

You shouldn't feel guilty about anything you happen to like.I agree. And with that, I say:
We are never, ever, ever...getting back together!
I'm Every Woman - Chaka Kahn version. Say what you like, Chaka rocks.
How 'Bout Us - Champagne. A zillion years ago I worked in the children's department at Sears and they had a jukebox with this song in it. I played it all the time.
Gotta add a 4th - Feelin' Love by Paula Cole. That song is just hot.
"Total Eclipse of the Heart" - Bonnie Tyler
"Mirrors" - Disco Biscuits
BTO - Taking care of business.Dont be ashamed brother, embrace your REO and Bad Co
REO Speedwagon - Time for me to fly.

Bon Jovi - You Give Love a Bad Man (See also Discography)
On an semi-related note I've had this song in my head for a couple of days now

I'll go the @bostonron route and say that TSwift song. That is a fricking catchy tune.
Honestly never considered Alanis Morissette to be a "guilty" pleasure but seeing that you guys have her listed as a guilty one then I'll put her on the list.

Nothing to be ashamed of there. That song is great in at least 5 or 6 different ways. A true spine-tingling masterpiece!
2) Total Eclipse Of The Heart (Bonnie Tyler) - Again, sue me. I love this song too. It has one of the most addictive "hooks" of any tune ever written. It strikes a nerve in me for whatever reason, and I don't give a flying f*** what you say I still like it.

"Don't Stop Believing" - JourneyI used to be hard core into the Disco Biscuits about 12 years ago. I don't know much of what they're playing these days, but I do know Mirrors, and I love that song! Haters can hate, the lyrics of that song hit me hard in the humanity. Since I entered my 30's it's not terribly hard for a good song to get me choked me up.
"Total Eclipse of the Heart" - Bonnie Tyler
"Mirrors" - Disco Biscuits
These are my guilty pleasure songs:
