Lawn Boys NYC 1/25-You Write The Set List

12Next →View All

Drod1980 Permalink
Hey Phish.net. We're constantly getting requests to perform fan favorites, so we're stepping it up a notch and performing 2 sets and an encore created entirely by you.

Write up your best 2 sets and encore and post them below here or on our FB event at http://www.facebook.com/events/415856721819817/ . We will pick a winner in various categories. The Grand Prize winner will be contacted ahead of time and given 2 tickets to the show, other cool Lawn Boys prizes, and will have the show they created played live at Sullivan Hall!

Please pass this along to any and all friends you think would have fun with this. Rules and prizes below. Let the games begin!

The Lawn Boys at Sullivan Hall
214 Sullivan Street, New York, NY
Friday January 25th, 11PM
$12 in advance/ $15 at the door

Categories:

Best Set List - Grand Prize
- Guidelines: Inspired song placement, great phlow, interesting segues, compelling bust out(s), too many notes.
- Prizes: Show played live at Sullivan Hall, two free tickets to the show, a Lawn Boys t-shirt (not available in stores) and a laminated show poster.

Best Classic Set List
- Guidelines: The kind of Phish show you would dream of seeing before most of us began seeing Phish. Old school segues, antics, 1.0 jaded vet special.
- Prizes: Lawn Boys t-shirt, laminated show poster, and a free ticket to our next Lawn Boys show.

Funniest/Most Original Set List
- Guidelines: Wild segues, word play, spelling out Tribute Bands Suck with the first letter of each song.
- Prizes: Lawn Boys t-shirt, laminated show poster, and a free ticket to our next Lawn Boys show.

*Official Rules*
- All contest entries eligible for the grand prize must be made by January 5th, 2013
- Sullivan Hall is a 18+ venue, so participants must be 18 or older to win.
- All set lists will be considered but your best bet is to create 2 sets that are 60-75 minutes each, contain 8-12 songs, and a 1 or 2 song encore. Hint: our traditional set lists tend to be 1.0 heavy.
- The grand prize winner will be contacted via the social networking site or message board where they posted their winning show set lists. Winner will be contacted on or around Jan 5, 2013 and will be brought on stage at Sullivan Hall (until then mums the word!).
- Non-grand prize winners (Best Classic and Funniest/Most Original) will be announced at the 1/25 Sullivan Hall show. Winners must be present to receive prizes.
