Working now, hosting a kegger later, going to Giants Saints tomorrowGM.N Sounds good!
Drinking coffee, going to gym then who knows. I feel like cooking today I think. Going to watch football at a buddys house tomorrow so no cooking then.
I am starting to feel like The Phish is getting closer.
Got a hotel all set up for the Trey show in Albany, Hampton Inn one tenth of mile from the Palace.
At least you got a kegger and football game tonight. I'm starting to plan ahead for what comes after publishing this paper. I've learned over the years that truly legendary benders require a bit of foresight.
I spun this show last night. Tweezer was so damn good. I remember right around the seventeen minute mark of Tweezer, all of the nights were behind the stage in some repeating rainbow pattern. It was like a cracked out version of Simon. I was drinking gin and juice before the show and I got my first bathtub Gin that night!
Sup, @Axilla_Part_2_Not_Part_1? I gotta work at some point today too. Pretty much every day for the next two weeks. Merrr.../lover boy'd

Round Room and Undermind has some of Phish's best lyrics
Hooray! @TheEmu will be home soon!!
. Bialy the cat has taken up his usual post in the window to watch/listen for him. He loves his kitty Diddy so much! Awwww...
You know shit is going bananas when CK5 puts all of the lights behind the stage. The Twist jam video from the Island Tour is my favorite CK5 video to watchI'll have to check that out again.
Some of the most mystical experiences I've ever had have been in the glow of those lights. At Essex I was about 50ft or so from the stage. For some reason, that was where I had the most significant direct exposure to CK5's lights. He likes to slowly tilt the back line of lights upward, sweeping the crowd from front to back during the build up in Slave. That was when I "got" Slave for the first time.
GM.N!Yeah, I hear that!
Picked up the Walnut Creek DVD last night, but, ended up listening to vinyl all night.

Oh, wait...
Also, August and Everything After is a GREAT album, so many memories wrapped up in it.Agreed, though Mrs. Potter's Lullaby is my favorite song.

@DrPeterVenkman, sign'dIt's a shame how bad they got, they did a song for Shrek and it was downhill after that. Recovering The Satellites isn't all that bad. I think Long December makes that album.

On our way out the door to a giant baby shower.
Well, the baby might be regular size, but there will be a lot of people at the shower.
PT has a Dimebag Darrell memorial thread on it's first page today.
.net has a John Lennon memorial thread on it's first page today.
I was never a fan of Dimebag Darrel, just not my flavor of art, but it is horrible and sad the way he went. Same with John. I want to believe in the right to own a gun, but the madness needs to end.
The difference between PT and .net.We sure are good at killing our idols. I'm not offering Dimebag up to realms of idolization but damn, "It's too good, let's kill it"

I guess they were entering the early afternoon and my buddy had to be the one to pull the plug. Duritz was ready to keep raging. Cocaine is a hell of a drug.
Maybe I should stop f***ing around and get some work done. Maybe.
edit: Ok, my theory is shot to all hell now. Lennon thread has been activated.
@Frizz just killed my PT vs. .net theory from above. Still haven't seen a Lennon thread over there yet though.I was going to say something about that, leave it to him. Still, I'm not among the one ones that carries the "That's our Frizz" mentalities.

Derping it up hard this morning. Beaver Creek is so dead right now it's scary. We've gotten maybe 2 inches of snow since the season started. Need some goddamn powder
Used to be against all that I stood for to be awake before 10am on a Saturday...wtf. I've been awake for an hour already...but my stubborn ass won't get up till nature is practically stomping on my lower abdominal area. But still...here I am at ten to 9 (central) and I'm up. suck
Going to a christmas party tonight. One of my ladies has a full, decked out bar in her basement. (we worked together for about 5 years about 5 years ago) She invites all of her (husband's) friends and (his) family over for a super kick-ass blast. (heh i said ass blast) I never know anyone there but her, but I'm friendly and most of them know me. (it's a work thing, I'm just really unaware of anything that has to do with that place). I mingle and get relatively trashed while she plays hostess. Later, during mid party rage, she and I will disappear and have our own party. Smokey treats and catch-up talk. I'm expecting to have a great time tonight.
I feel a rambling coming on...story time? maybe so, maybe not. I feel the need to make up for my non posting yesterday... (here's me acting like I'm all will powered and self controlled... I forgot my phone yesterday... it was hell, but I did catch up my work from a whole week of slacking)
ok... 9am... I suppose...

Dark Star was great last night. I really enjoy Jeff Chimenti. He was on keys instead of Rob Barraco. Bunch of songs I was hoping to hear. WAY more people then I expected pretty good little lot scene too. Spent the first set in the middle of the crowd but found an awesome spot tucked in the back next to the sound board for set two. Had a chair and shared a table with the lights guy. Plenty of space to move and breath back there.
Not gonna lie I had moments where I couldn't get over the "imitation" factor. The "fake Bobby" sings and acts just like the real Bobby. It's a little much.
Also the most sober I have been at a show in a Loooooooong time. Few puffs before I went in and that was it. Had a really good time. Didn't miss drinking at all.
Gm.netAm I safe to assume you mean Beaver Creek CO? That is where my wife and I went on our honeymoon! Thinking about going back for an anniversary soon.

What up team?So you got to play the sober audience member? Last time I saw DSO they gave me 'Patchwork pants guy with the dog" role.

I wasn't happy.
What's up peeps good morning been awake for about an hour now. Got a lot of stuff to do today almost the end of the semester and of course I put all these papers and stuff off... I can still hear the teachers voices in my head saying first day of class don't put this off... It's haunting me. On the positive I mighty have a new lady friend from work just want to take it slow cause we have never chilled outside of work ya know?
ass blast

Enjoy the rage fest tonight! I will be home with my little girl tonight being all mellow. Glad to have my next few days with her. Going to be good for my soul.
What up team? When I saw Furthur, Jeff really stood out to me

@Axilla_Part_2_Not_Part_1I see, said the blind man to his deaf wife. But Nah I work at Beaver Creek ski resort here in the central Rockies.
A map for multi player in Halo 3 was called Beaver Creek
Damn that was a fun show.
