As part of the .net welcome wagon/hospitality crew, I will be there. Jillian's has closed down, so we will have to find a new place to hang out beforehand.

It might be worth it to make the drive over, last time he played there so many extras could be snapped, people were just leaving extras in the poster frames out front.

What did you think? I have a picture of me front row center, right in front of him. I'm looking at the pics of him I had just taken on my phone. Shit got real when he reached down and touched my hand. Trey had nice, soft warm hands :-) that made my year!

I grew up in Albany and know some ins and outs! Wolf's Biergarten is very, very nice and a great place to enjoy an amazing selection of brews.

STAY AWAY FROM PEARL STREET. That area has become a friggen' DUMP. Littered with obnoxious college kids who flow in and out of the seedy clubs and bars. The only good bar there, The Bayou Cafe, has turned into a place so crowded with douchebags it's not funny.

There are a ton of awesome places in Colonie (Albany suburb, not far from the Palace), and the area near the airport has very good hotels. The Desmond actually offers shuttle service to and from events, although the hotel is a bit pricey.

I will be at Albany and Syracuse. If any .netters are going to either, shoot me a message and I will direct you to the best places to pregame (especially in Syracuse).

I think I'm going to the Palace show. It'll be my first TAB! Lol
I got friends who live just off of Madison ave right next to Albany medical so there's no reason for me not to go, and it's an easy 1 hour drive on 88 for me. Can't wait!!

If you like crab cakes you absolutely must go to McGeary's Pub right across from the venue. I know what you are thinking: "Amazing crab cakes in Albany, yeah right?" But trust me...my girl and I are crab cake fanatics and this place is well above par. We will certainly be there pre-show. Here is the website.

a couple of my friends are opting to go to Lotus in NYC on the same day as Albany TAB... it was a tough choice, but Albany is way closer/easier, and this time id rather see trey, so im going solo to it. Love me some lotus, but ive never seen TAB.

I am shocked it isn't sold out. Not many seats left but at least I won't have to scalp if I decide to go.

Umphrey's is amazing live. Maybe my second favorite as far as live experience. Crowd can be hit or miss though.
