I will have to check them out if they come back around, and I know they will. Do they ever not tour?I don't think so. They even have families and are on the road constantly.
@RovingReporter said:I grew up in Saratoga...worked at Albany Med for years. What's up, neighbors?I grew up in Albany and know some ins and outs! Wolf's Biergarten is very, very nice and a great place to enjoy an amazing selection of brews.I grew up in Albany, you grew up in Niskayuna.
STAY AWAY FROM PEARL STREET. That area has become a friggen' DUMP. Littered with obnoxious college kids who flow in and out of the seedy clubs and bars. The only good bar there, The Bayou Cafe, has turned into a place so crowded with douchebags it's not funny.
There are a ton of awesome places in Colonie (Albany suburb, not far from the Palace), and the area near the airport has very good hotels. The Desmond actually offers shuttle service to and from events, although the hotel is a bit pricey.
I will be at Albany and Syracuse. If any .netters are going to either, shoot me a message and I will direct you to the best places to pregame (especially in Syracuse).

@MaybeSo_MaybeNot said:I'm really hoping to. I'm gonna scope out tickets today, but it sort of depends on some things going on here in Virginia Beach - I scheduled surgery for the following Tuesday, so it would be a quick trip up to visit the family and Trey, then come down and do what I have to do. I really, really want to go.@ProfPhan said:Nice. I was born at Albany Med.@RovingReporter said:I grew up in Saratoga...worked at Albany Med for years. @Jimmymac03. There is a possibility I might hit the UM show in Providence the 19th. I haven't seen them yet. I know you love them. It would be great if you could sneak away and make the show. I can probably get a place for you to crash for the night. That would be awesome! Let me know how it goes. Right now I am at about 90% definitely attending. Just need to clear things with my baby's mama.
I don't know about you all but wifey and I plan on going to the aforementioned Wolff's -- http://www.wolffsbiergarten.com/
I will at the pump statio, then trey, then the bayou for hot day at the zoo

Anyone know what time have they been going on?ditto, any info on this?
So, my wife and I are in our seats before the show when this spun out dude comes through the isle looking up and down the row at seat numbers, then turns to me to say, "You're in the wrong seats, you're gonna have to move."
I do the "wuh-wuh-wuh, WUH?" and tell the kid he's wrong. He starts flashing a ticket in my face that is definitely not for the seats we are sitting in, while his friend goes and gets an usher. Now I'm yelling at this spunion telling him to go jam up someone else when the friend comes back with an usher, friend looking all indignant, and the usher comes over to me and says "you'll have to move, you're in the wrong seats" .
I start to feel like a jerk, until I realize even the usher has his head up his ass, because we are in the right seats the whole time. Literally, the usher says, "you'll have to move down to the right seats." I say, "my bad, we're in lodge row A left center, 15 & 17." Usher says, "You're in the right row, just move down." But this whole time we're arguing, we are in the right seats. I mean, how many more times do I need to show my ticket and say, "We, not you an your spin out crew, are in the right goddamn seats."
The misunderstanding came from the spunion not actually knowing what the fukc was going on around him cuz he's so spun out. So, thanx to you, you asshat of a fan, for getting my hackles up before the show. And the next time you tell the story of your girlfriends pin that Got handed to Trey, don't. You already told it to me like a million times. And stop using flavored blunt wraps.
And learn how seating works in a theater.
Even at a point during the night my wife, an ex-theater kid, tried to explain the whole odd/even theater seating concept to the spunion, but all he could say was , "Yeah, wuh, so yeah I've seen Phish a bunch of times..."
Good for you son, good for you. Now maybe try paying attention to your surroundings, and not just the fog.
I love the whole band, but Tony, I love you the most.
Heart and soul.
::cheers::
All of I wanted to hear was Corona and he didn't play it.
WTF?
But that was an especially scorching second set, and I did get Jibboo and Shine. But Trey better start playing Corona with Phish.

Way to wrap up the tour! & in a venue that's
just readicculus
Nice little treat to hold us over 'til Phish
Any MGB dates in the works??
Peace.
He meant no harm, I stand by my man. I thought all that was cleared up & hugs were exchanged?
Anyway - tried not to comment, but cant sit quiet while my bf gets blasted
He's a really good guy & that whole thing was a misunderstanding fueled by alcohol & the excitement of trey about to come on.
I'm all good with all our neighbors - I thought the air was cleared.
didn't think that was worthy of comments on this usually very positive forum.
Please accept a public apology for my friends if they caused bad vibes,
I know, for a fact, that wasn't their intent.
Peace.
And back to the topic ....
Trey's show last night was straight Fire!
He really played his heart out for us in Albany, admittedly one of Trey's favorite places to play &
he really showed that last night.
And Jen .... shew!! Never tire of her voice!
Now .... patiently awaiting Phish and hopefully MGB dates
Hugs were exchanged, indeed, the whole thing just kind of stuck with me this morning and had to speak my mind.
Sorry for judging your rider as a spunion.
Cheers.
We're sorry too for starting your night off wrong - hope it finished up right
Show was sick!!!!
TAB Photos from the Palace TheatreThank you for this! Amazing show. I was at Port Chester #2 and Albany...so worth the trip to the frozen northeast.
