So, I've been having some difficulty for the past five days getting into the BO2 servers. My Xbox connects to Live just fine. I can stream Netflix and my NAT type is set to Open. So, I'm pretty sure its not my Xbox, ISP, or router.

Today I tried to get onto the BO2 forums to discuss this issue but, low and behold, their site is down!

Yesterday I was able to get into their servers and play a few rounds. But here's the kicker: the rounds were dropped multiple times (at one point there were four matches in a row started that weren't finished due to host migration, timeouts, etc.) and I lost my shit when I tried to start a new round and was given a notice that I was on some kind of probation for leaving too many public matches. WTF??

So I can pay for the game, xbox live, season passes but if I leave a match early, I'm in trouble? F you Activision!

Yes, I know, I know, this is a Phish forum but I know there are a few xboxers on this site and would like to know if ya'll are having this issue. Or if you know something that I don't. I mean, I'm not retarded (at least I think I'm not--who knows? Maybe no one ever told me). I've got a programming degree so I'm not computer illiterate.

Yeah, I'm a COD nut. I'm a sucker for 'em. I've owned them all and play them out. In fact I only have one game that's not COD (a flight sim that my buddy wanted to play with me online).

But even as nutty as I am about the series, I'm feeling pretty disappointed (or screwed, I don't know which). I'd heard about issues with some of the past titles but I'd never had a problem like this before. I used to think (when I heard the complaints) that maybe they didn't have their router set-up properly of that it was somehow the users fault. Now, I'm one of those users with an issue.

BTW, I just got onto the BO2 forum and there are apparently a lot of people going through this. I guess I should feel comforted by the fact that I'm not alone.

Finally got on around 5pm. Left it on when I wasn't playing and have been able to stay on.

My buddy in AZ has had no problems either. I didn't unplug anything - it just started working. So, idk.

Still waiting on my dealer though......

So what do you guys (and gals) think about this probation thing? It happens when you drop out too often. Makes you wait before you can start a new round.

I owned it as well, and it was the worst game I've ever played....all you did was fall in those holes and then you couldn't get out.
