MSG bustouts

andrewrose Permalink
andrewrose Gotta figure the band is going to dust off a couple old favourites. Personally I think we're going to see one of the following classic rockers for Trey to shred on. They all have a history at MSG New Year's runs and none have been played since 98.

Johnny B. Goode
Izabella
Crossroads

Also wouldn't mind seeing one of the following surface:
My Left Toe
All Things Reconsidered

TheDeputy I'm from the school of thought that there aren't really that many bustouts left. They have covered a lot of ground since 2009. I think if it's been played in 3.0 already, it's not really a bustout. For example, I'd like to hear Demand. It was a bustout in 09 when they played it, but because they played it in 09 it moves to the cateogry of 'rare' tune.
Eliza, All Things Reconsidered... those would be bustouts.

The tuck thing at Portsmouth this summer was a bit over the top for my taste; Split Open and Melt is a top favorite for me.

Well after him botching SOAM at San Fran and then Letter to Jimmy Page at Charlotte, I would like to hear some redemption.

ledzepmaster Well my point is the last performances of those two songs were botchy. On Trey's part that is. He gets too excited.

I mean how to rip chord a section of a song that is only 59 seconds? (LTJP)

i think we are gonna get a MONSTER PIPER one of these shows...not a bustout I know but it will be one for the books.

i'd love to see foreplay/longtime since I wasn't part of the 94 summer or fall. and didn't catch any other time it showed up.

I heard someone say New York Groove from Kiss:

I'd like to hear a spock's brain or an intentional MLB jam (which I believe are inherently unintentional so that might be tough).

would be cool to see some TAB tracks rear their heads like Mr. Completely....

or a Mikes-> Yerushalayim Shel Zahav-> Weekapaug....
