Wow. Just found out I cant go......What should I do with these amazing seats?
Sell em, Miracle em, Sell em and donate the money, Use them to market some for profit web site? Trade em? Give them to friends? Give them to my fantasy sports competitors?
I was really excited to go but want to ask here what the best plan would be?
I can always do the web cast and enjoy the show from home......

In June, I couldn't go to the first night of Worcester, in seats I paid a lot for from the MimiFishman foundation auction. I opened them up here on .net, and had people write me to explaining why they should have the tickets. I gave them away to the person whose story resonated most strongly with me. It was one of the most incredible experiences I've ever had being part of this community, and strongly recommend something like it. The return on the money I spent was better than any other investment I've ever made.

Yeah something really bad came up and just wont be able to go.These tickets are gold and want to do the right thing. Is selling them for top dollar and giving all the proceeds to charity really that bad? Mockingbird, sandy/ irene relief, School shooting fund? We paid less than 200 for the pair and could care less about the cost? Care more about who we can help? The World is a f***ed up place and its the holidays..... Ive seen 2 new years........

nice @wrinkledraisin!@SicMD, I would hook a friend up for face or throw them out to .net (which this could be one in the same). if i threw them out to .net, I would probably make some sort of game/competition out of it. the sillier the better.

Shriviled rasin i agree that is a great idea. Although everybody has a stroy as to why they are more deserving. Nobody is more deserving than my Girlfriend and thats why we got these to begin with. But she cant go and I wont go with out her. its her birthday but right now she is lucky to be alive.

You made the thread on .net so it seems appropriate to sell them to a.netter for face and fees if you don't have any friends that need them. IMO it's best to quickly offer them up for sale as opposed to getting tons of peoples hopes up and having the inevitable begging and groveling take place. That's just my 3 dollars and 50 cents.

OP i think you can combine all your ideas into one. miracle them but also make it so people have to visit your website and donate money and then you can choose to miracle them to anyone who donated money or something (me and my girlfriend would gladly take you and your gf's place, got a babysitter all lined up but no tix). then you can do what you want and donate the money where you want.the problem with donating is there are just so many different types of people that need the money.

I think using them to miracle someone is amazing. It is wonderful that you want to help others. I cant go because there's no way I can pay for my lovely girlfriend & I to go together.
