anyone going? Thoughts on $200 ticket? I have floor tix (back half)
for the 30th, so I'm really tempted to put in for the charity in exchange for early entrance. But $200 is a little steep.

I personally think it would be a great experience. Something a little different than the norm, and also for a good cause. I still have a couple of days to think about it, but leaning towards "Mike says no."
Would love to hear about the san fran one too.

Regardless, I'd still love to go. I like food and drinks and special events.
Did anyone go to the San Fran one? How was it? How were the raffles?food was superb, buffet style, plenty of it...
the bar was awesome... free drinks, etc.
early entrance to the venue was awesome. my buds stayed and kept drinking for about an hour, i left and saved their spots... missed out on the extra free food and booze.
the raffles? too rich for my blood. i barely remember some of the items, but i know that one went for over a thousand.. coulda been up to 2 or 3k not sure. these 2 were in a bidding war, kind of fun to watch, but couldnt really as AG was sliding past me trying to get out the door first for the earlier entrance to the venue -- we were all locked up in this room (it was large) until the last item was auctioned.

Any opportunity to get posters or merch or were you just allowed from the room to the seats or did you have free reign to walk around the venue and buy food, use restrooms, buy merch etc.?Did anyone go to the San Fran one? But during the early entrance, there was definitely ability to walk wherever you would be able to during a reg show (SF was all GA).
I didn't remember a raffle, but there could have been one. I don't remember there being a lot of items auctioned. They handed us a bag of stuff when we walked in... phish tote bag, the pollock 15th anniversary waterwheel poster... i dont remember what else was in the bag... maybe someone can help me out ? there was also another thread about it yuo might wanna search for
