Any tips on the best stuff to do? best eats at 4am, places to check out, places to avoid. My friend and I are traveling up there for the New Years shows and are going to stay up all night on New Years.

I'm staying up all night on NYE also, I kinda have no choice considering I'm not staying anywhere. I can afford the show but not a place to stay. I agree with the question, what places should be avoided?

My favorite moment of pissing stupidity; off the platform Union Square station N/W line. I was headed home from a bar, quite drunk and very much in need of a pee. Watched a bum do it... gave it a minute, no police... I did it too. Best piss ever.

I never got popped in NYC but did get a $276 tickey in Sea Bright NJ 15 years ago. Man that was alot back then. I just think if you can avoid the basic dumb offenses, you wont get the rougher possesion, public intox, etc. charges. Be nice to the cops - they will let you have as much fun as you can handle - but pissing really pisses them off.

I'm going to walk through Central Park alone tripping balls in $1200 worth of clothes with my dick out singing "prince caspian" on New Years morning at 4 am just to say I did it. ::ha ha most likely taking the subway from MSG to JFK;;

Open until 5AM. All three locations are perfect, though I prefer the East Village and Greenwich Village locations (they're closer to all the best bars in the city anyway.)
Get the Artichoke slice (two if you can handle it - these slices are insanely delicious and filling.) When you're shitfaced after a concert, this is literally the greatest thing in the world to eat. You'll thank me later.

Based on personal experience, almost every street in NYC has surveillance cameras now so I wouldn't do anything sketchy. There's also a lot of plain clothes dicks walking around. They're pretty serious about no puffing on the streets. Of course, if you do get scooped up for some infraction you'll have a nice warm (and smelly) holding cell to crash in!

I'd be down to chill and hit up that artichoke pizza or whatever if youre looking for some company to join in the debauchery.

Central park will be really fun after midnight - the run will be tkaing place and you can most likely hide in the woods somehere and do whatever you weant till at least 2-3AM.If you're gonna puff keep it on the side streets - and keep moving.
