2 NYE and 2 12/28 tickets, won in the lottery and belonging to a very sad person (me) who can't make it to NYC, are being given away today. A $30 donation to a great children's charity gets you in the drawing and, as of now, there are only a handful of entries so the odds are really good.
For information on how to enter, the charity, etc. see the original thread here.
Donations accepted through 6pm PST today, so don't wait!
Because I forgot to do this in the original thread, I'll mention that this opportunity is not in any way associated with MBF or this site. I'm just trying to do some good with tickets I can't use instead of scalping them.

Great cause, so who won?
Bump to the top in hopes @wayderminute lets .net know the results. Not that its wrong to have people donate to a good cause, but it would be nice to hear if OP delivered on his end!
@sicmd have you heard anything?

Sounds about right. I imagine he was hoping he could raise at least the cost of tickets. I'll PM him and see if he responds back.

I also donated and have not heard anything yet. Hopefully we get some sort of update/answer today.The dude's west coast time, so it's still relatively early there. I PM'ed him, and am hoping for a reply. If I hear back I'll update everyone here as well.
Sorry for the delay, all. I drew and notified the winners on Friday as promised. I was waiting to hear back from one of them (left message on cell) to get permission to post his name, then got busy with last-minute Christmas stuff.
Winners were:
12/28 - Zach F. from South Windsor, CT
12/31 - Donald R. from Champaign, IL
Tickets were sent Fed-Ex on Saturday, should arrive no later than Wednesday.
A bit thank you! to all who donated. We raised $345 for Eastside Baby Corner - about the cost of the tickets with fees, so it worked out well for them. My sympathies to all that donated but didn't win. I wish you the best in your search for tickets! I'll be thinking about you and comiserating while sitting on my couch next weekend.
