We were at the worthy burger in south royalton, great burgers and a selection of taps for any beer lover. Heady music too boot. Check it out if your in the area.
; )
Yeah. Top of the line. The Edward and Abner are you talking about? absolute heaven!
haven't been to worthy burger yet (almost an hour away), but it sounds like a good spot.
We've never even been to the brewery yet. but we can get a variety on draught at multiple local spots. I havent had one of their beers yet thats been less than exceptional. Best brewery in VT (and probably much further) right now, imo.
And yeah, ornery was a bit of an understatement, I guess. But his beer makes up for it.
Where is the Long Trail Tavern you're talking about? I'm assuming its not the Inn at Long Trail, at the top of Sherburne pass on Rt. 4...
A couple of really good friends just bought a house in Johnson. He has roots there, but theyve been in B-ton for a bunch of years. Looking forward to checking it out.
@Fenris, @Harrynuggs -The Long Trail Tavern is in Johnson. It's actually closed right now but will reopen later this year. I've been in and out of the Johnson area for around eighteen years. Johnson's pretty small but really cool with a tight knit crew and community. It's a good place. You should check it out sometime.

@jonnyd the woolen mills has some great, warm, and durable threads.
@fenris did you check the roots out when they played at JSC in 1999? Pretty good show, I'm sure they played it for the acustics, heard they put some on it on roots come alive. Anyway they mocked the primarily Caucasian crowd by playing the cheers anthem.Yeah, the Roots show was great. I remember when some people jumped up on stage and Questlove got pissed and yelled something like "can't I do my thing?!?" There's been so many sick shows at JSC. I've seen Bela Fleck, Ween, Culture, Pfunk, Michael Ray and Trey, Arlo Guthrie, Pat Metheny, Sandip Burman, Dark Star, and more. Sadly they aren't really booking bigger shows there lately. My favorite moment up there was the Ween show. The place was packed beyond capacity, there was people smoking weed and drinking beer all over the place. My good buddy Jan, the theater director was standing right next to me and Ween was playing Let me Lick Your Pu$$y. I looked at Jan and he looked totally defeated and freaked out by the pandemonium. But he was laughing at the same time. Good times in and around JSC!
