Is there anyone on here with a copy of this show? Would anybody be able to help me out and send me mp3s? My buddy is trying to burn this show to a disc for his brother-in-law for Christmas. It was one of his favorites or some such thing. Any efforts would be greatly appreciated, it's for a friendly holiday reason !! And if you happen to be able to help me and will be at the Garden next weekend, maybe a few bucks or a couple beers could suffice? I will be there Friday and Saturday ... Holler at me if you can help, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! other holidays too

Happy holidaze!
My 1st dead show. Awesome! The dark star teases throughout were sick. I remember when they started playing eyes half of the crowd started jumping the rails to get onto the floor. And hornsby playing keys was icing on the cake. Fantastic show

Summer '91 was one giant Dark Star tease. This show is the most famous example of that. I remember one of the Soldier Field shows had a bunch of teases as well. Everyone knew it could bust out an any second...but when! We got a MONSTER Dark Star in Greensboro on April Fools Day, so we knew they were still capable.
After a long East Coast Summer tour full of teases, the folks back west finally got it, on 8-16-91 at Shoreline. In the first set!

In the first set! That Shoreline show is weird. 10 minute first set Dark Star (the crowd energy in the beginning is amazing, but it doesn't really go anywhere), then Scarlet > Victim > Fire to open the second set has some interesting jamming. The segue into Victim is lead by Bruce and is really cool. Then Phil leads us nicely into Fire after some more jamming.
