How is it possible not to smoke

Herbdacious Permalink
Herbdacious Like forreal. I can't for the next 1.5-3 years. And it's hard as hell I'm not gonna lie. and I'm only like 2 weeks deep on stopping. I feel out of touch with myself.

careful_w_that_axe_Miller You got to take drugs that are worse for you but not on the DEA's list yet.

If you walk out in the woods in the northeast, chances are there is a buzz out there. Certainly be careful as you don't want to poison yourself, but online as well you can buy legal buzzes and chemicals, spice & kratom I have tried and they both work well.

You could get a big plastic dick and fake pee? I always wondered when Trey was on probation did he get special treatment? Ha ha lots of probation officers are cock gazers, I swear it I peed in a cup once after eating asparagus and when I looked out of the corner of my eye the PO was drooling

Busta_Move Um, it's actually not hard at all once ya get used to it. Start doing other shit.....find some new activities/hobbies. I'm guessing that you're on paper? Don't f*** it up. Probation/parole isn't something to f*** with. You can easily turn one year of probation into 10 years of being in the system if you're not smart about it. I've seen a lot of people do that before.

Accept the fact that you can't smoke, find some new hobbies......don't just switch to booze, cause that's asking for trouble. If you need to get high once in a while, odds are that they won't test for tryptamines, and even if they do, it's not in your system for long. So if you gotta get high, eat some mushrooms or L every now and again. As far as a daily thing; exercise. Not only is good for you physically, it's awesome mentally. The endorphins released are no joke.

harpua77 Take it a day at a time-- not smoking for 3 years may seem impossible, but not smoking today is doable. When you wake up in the morning remember all you got to do is not smoke today. String a bunch of todays together and you'll find yourself a lot further along than you imagined.

You'll be fine. You may even like it. I was a regular smoker for years and then one day I just stopped. It ended up being a 2 year break or so and it was great. Really cleared my head up and made me realize I don't NEED to smoke all the time. Now I'm a once in a blue moon smoker

I moved the South Korea for a year an rarely had anything. When I returned it had a different effect on me. It now makes me very paranoid!

TwiceBitten You'll find after a little while that you may enjoy life more with a clear head. Constant pot smoking can be such a downer. Sometime's it's hard to realize that the things you think you love are just crutches you are leaning too heavily on. That feeling of being "out of touch with yourself" is actually you getting back in touch with the real you. It may be hard at first because you might not like what you see, but trust me, this will be a positive experience. Plus, you will become more attractive and more women will like you. It's a fact

I blacked out after doing 500 on a hex bar one day. Took me so long to pull it up I turned red then finally got it all the way. Dropped it and took 2 steps and went lights out

You both need to breath. The endomorphins will come from breaking down your muscle tissue, sounds like your catching a buzz from holding your breath which is awesome but it could hurt you.

Bend over, breath out deeply for 15-30 seconds, stand up cross your arms, have someone give you a bear hug from behind, you'll go out and wake up feeling great.

I think it's more important to remain hanging out with the same friends even while they do smoke and exercise the will power of not doing it while it's right in front of me. Not trying to avoid it. But that's just the way I see it I'm sure my po thinks otherwise.

A lot of smart and a lot of dumb comments in this thread.

It may seem hard right now, but take it one day at a time. After a number of days of not smoking, you may actually enjoy that you're not smoking. Exercise, definitely. The endorphines are amazing.

I used to smoke every day and now I'm also a once-in-a-blue smoker. I just ran a marathon last month and it felt amazing to be in great shape. I couldn't have done that smoking regularly.

Good luck, but take it one day at a time and you'll be happier than you were when you were smoking daily.

gravitysrainbow Strangely enough.... it is as easy as not picking up your favorite smokable..... lighting it..... and inhaling. But your thread's title indicates a clear dependency. Know that replacement therapy doesn't work.... as many have suggested. For me, a 12 step program ultimately was the only way. But you probably have a few more realizations to make before that could be helpful. Nonetheless, poking your head into a meeting might be helpful..... if only to be in a room full of people who are living comfortably in your perceived impossibility.

Be well....
