Hey .net,

Last year a netter @The_Slothelot organized an informal meet up last holiday run (mainly because the official meet up was on the 31st, which is alwasy hectic). Even with the meet up on the 30th this year, I thought why not shoot for another one of these, for people who will only be there a night or two, or people who just couldn't wait until Sunday. So here's the deal:

Saturday. Irish Times. 3pm.

Irish Times is located at 254 W 31st street.
Irish Times NYC

Bascially, right across the street from MSG. It's a big bar/restaurant with plenty of room for a large gathering. There is also an upstairs area in case we get too big (doubtful). To be honest, it is a little expensive, but typical for that area.

This is very informal. No cool laments or iPod playlists. But there should be a decent number of netters committed to being there and we would all like to see more.

If anyone feels the need, shoot me a PM and wa can exchange numbers. I don't foresee plans changing, but in the event that they do, I will of course give a heads up (total disclaimer. We will most certainly be there).

I can't wait to see everyone again, and meet some of you for the first time.

I wish I could. They are kind of doing me a big solid by letting me go at 3. The busiest part of the day is 3-4. The issue is on Saturdays we have a scaled down crew so it is just me and one other guy. I tried to get someone to cover my whole shift, but one dude is out cause his wife had a miscarriage and another girl is out with kidney stones.

I will definitely be trying to sneak out early though if the situation presents itself Very happy I won't be missing the beginning of the show though!

What section are you in? I am 120 that night.
