DriedupGoliath Our Fishman,
Who art in rhombus,
W00kie be thy name.
These hippies come
With guitar and drum
On tour as it is in Gamehendge.
Give this day our daily toke
And forgive us our WSP stats
As we forgive spreadheads that come to our Phish shows.
And lead us not into the Biscuits
But deliver us from Umphrey's.

Ian's sick. Fever, runny nose, cough, etc., etc., etc. Not the end of the world. Just going to deal with a fussy little guy all day. Hopefully it's a quick thing and he isn't all banged up tomorrow for Laura as well.

Safe travels everyone. Can't wait to see you tomorrow.

@jayem, @bostonron, @phrisky, @johnnyd, can someone confirm Saturday at 3:00 at {fill in the blank}? Sorry, I've not had much time on the interwebz this week.

Sweet. Thanks.

I'm not so much worried about myself, although that would be awful. Just leaving Laura at home all day Saturday and Sunday morning with the both of them and 1 sick. It's not a fun combo by yourself.

I'm hiring for 11 positions, conducting about 20 interviews when it's all over and done with. 4 more today, 3 more next week. Most candidates have been quite strong, only a few duds and painful interviews.

That movie never should have been made. There's a special place in hell for Hollywood-types that ruin children's stories (especially ones as good as that). At least I hope there is.

Fun fact: Dr. Seuss was a Dartmouth grad. Also, the book Green Eggs & Ham was the result of a bet. One of Dr. Seuss's friends bet him that he couldn't craft a book of any worth using only 50 different words. Thus, the massive amount of repetition in that story (even for Dr. Seuss standards).

That is a solid amount. We are coming to the end of a hiring spree ourselves. I did not conduct any of ours, but I was allowed to sit in on a few. Of the 5 I was in on, 3 of them were quite painful. I like the process though, and hope to do more in the future.

the woes of iowa!!

i have done this a number of times. it's when i was working as a chef. typically, i would come in at 6am, crank out everything i needed to do, and hit the road like white lightning. typically, i would be working insanely fast and usually cut or burn myself at least twice. no burn can be felt when tweezer cranks up!!

twisty_m Morning .net! Part time!

@mfhgreyboy- I'm sorry your little dude is sick. Sick kids are no fun, but they look like damn angels when they're sleeping, don't they?

Dr.suess has and always will be a big deal in my house. I have fox in socks memorized! It's a skill, what can I say! Dr.suess also is helpful for kids who read and stutter. I worked for a speech therapist for kids for a stint. The Lorax made me tear up the first time I watched it; a beautiful message.

On another note, wall-e is still hands down my favorite kids, ovine that has a message about life behind it.

Everyone who is traveling today, be safe! Don't forget your tickets, your uno cards, and your party shoes!
