Got a last minute seat upgrade, couldn't give away my extras

I told everyone here this would happen the next 3 nights. I was attacked by scalpers and scalper supporters and apologists, many of whom were teenagers who have seen almost no shows, and my thread was closed because I melted hard at them.
But again....I called this on here and PT. And I want credit!

Aside from the thread I made here 4 nights ago asking people not to cave and stubhub, but to wait and get tickets at the show (and so many disagreed) I made the same thread at PT, where again, nobody believed it.
But now we know: 28th = on the ground
29th will be an easy ticket
30th will be tickets on the ground
31st will be a tough ticket but easier then people think, with many extras showing up.

If anyone knew this was going to happen, why buy re-re's and sell them at face to other fans, why not simply say, just pick them up off the ground, they are free, why be an un necessary middle man? Why go through the trouble of buying and re-selling if you KNEW this would happen???EVERYBODY SELL YOUR 30TH's and JUST PICK UP WHAT YOU NEED ON THE GROUND! I would love to see a list of people who are going to do that.

I don't know how anyone could have "called" this because the last two years or least say the last seven shows prior to last nights Phish has played at MSG they were all hard tickets. Last year on the 28th there were tons and tons of people with fingers in the air as I was walking in and this was the same for each night.
30th will not be on the ground. Im calling it now. I personal know a bunch of people only doing the 30th and 31st. I think many Phans are only doing those two nights.

Everyone was hittin' the slopes.They were turning people away at Gore Mountain yesterday.
They literally stopped selling lift tickets and told people they were sold out.

If anyone sees a PTBM tix on the ground can someone pick it up for me please. I like framing the tix and I have the 28th, 29th and 31st. All i need is the 30th. I DO NOT need the code just the ticket.I will gladly trade any night code for an invalid PTBM 30th ticket.

I gotta say - I've been at both shows and I saw people looking everywhere but did not see a single ticket "on the ground" not calling anyone a liar just saying...I didn't see any of that.

Maybe true ... but who is going to drive hours and hours, pay for a place to stay with no ticket in hand, in the hopes of finding one when you get there? Sounds like a recipe for severe disappointment. Guess I'm not heady enough to live in NYC and walk home if unsuccessful

i didnt see any tickets on the ground, but on N1 around 7:15 pm, people were selling tickets for 30 and 40 bucks. there were more people with extras than people who were looking. i saw it all with my own eyes.Not sure about N2. i didnt spend any time out front.

SO, DID ANYONE PICK UP A TICKET OFF THE GROUND AND WALK IN THE VENUE?I never believed this for one second. I would love to see a pic of these on the ground as well. I got attacked for saying they wouldn't be on the ground, but not one person has a pic of one?

All I can say is on the 28th me and my buddies ended up with 12 extras at around 7:00. 1 dude tried to sell a few, I went out to give mine away. The only hands up I. No fingers in the air, I stArted calling out who needs a free ticket, with no interest. So odd because there were lots of people looking last year on 12.28.11.

MSG didn't even fill up. Place looked half empty first 3 nights. Bet it doesn't come close to filling tonight, with another 5000-6000 tickets on the ground.

I wish I could do this but i'm just too scared about getting fake tickets outside of the venue. I'm cheap and it doesn't matter if I get charged face or $20, if I waste that money i'm gonna be pissed. Also, where were you finding these tickets on the ground? I certainly didn't come across any in my travels.
