This might be a stupid question, but I've never had to bring a bag into a show before. They do allow backpacks right?

I saw a guy on the floor N1 with a backpack and a zip of veggies inside right next to me. That's not all he had in that pack either.

I have asked to check my bag and was directed to the security office (right side after the turnstiles) and they held my pack for free.
Haven't done it in a while, but was pleased to not have to worry about my laptop at a show after work that night.

I've smuggled many a goodie into MSG tucked inside a backpack, including all kinds of favors, consumables, utilities and apparatuses.
