Rainbow Gathering is your only option at this point.

I heard they have good lawyers.

iGottaJibboo Go to the court date and meet with whoever, I assume you're not a NJ resident? They may want to set up probation and will transfer you to a officer in your state and area. Now if it's jail time or money you're concerned with, I recommend trying to talk to whoever you may get assigned to or the judge about setting up a community service plan instead, they're often very willing to make a deal of this nature. Try to have a clean system when you go into your initial court meeting, it can save you the hassle of probation and counseling. Believe me, I and many of my friends have been through the system in NJ and it can be easy, or it can be a f***ing bitch of a year. Be cooperative! and relaxed. Confidence goes a long way in the system. Present yourself in a rehabilitated fashion and be respectful. Good luck and be careful in NJ. They're some of the worst cops.

Chilly It isn't anything criminal, I believe it is closer to a speeding ticket than a crime. More than likely will just be a fine, MAYBE community service because of the paraphernalia too, but probably just a fine. Sometimes you get things like drug classes and probation, but that is more for a misdemeanor or minor felony, so you shouldn't have to much to worry about. Just show up to court dressed well, clean shaven, confident and polite and you shouldn't have any big deal.

MaybeSo_MaybeNot I only have experience with disorderly conduct in NY, and it stuck with me for the past 16 years because that is what the original charge was plead down to. May be a similar thing in NJ. (Plead down charge = charge goes on permanent record.) Look in to that....I found that out last year after all this time that I don't actually have a clean record. :-/
