Thank you, Phish. Thank you, .net.

mangobrain Yesterday morning I set out down Broadway Ave. in Nyack, NY, heading for the bus stop, where I would catch the number 9 into Port Authority, and eventually a Megabus to Boston. Finally aboard, freezing my ass off, I began to scroll my iPod, recently wiped clean and reloaded by our very own @bostonron, seeking out something that would put me in a reflective mood. This last trip into the city signaled the end of my sojourn in NY and, although I was totally convinced that we had all witnessed some magic over the course of this run, one which was vastly superior to last year's comparative flop, I just wanted to let it all settle in. As we rolled along, the sun's rays gently filtering through the bare trees, I opted for the classic Flatbed jam. Not only a perfect piece of music to achieve a profoundly meditative state, the Jam transported back to the very moment when I stood mouth agape watching the boys cruise by playing some of the most ethereal melodies that I had heard up to that moment, and allowed me to synthesize my past and present experiences. So, I sat and listened, while the new and the old, the 1.0 and the 3.0, mingled in my mind, both musically and socially. To say that I will overcome my proclivity for the days of yore would be a bit rash. I have, however, fully embraced the current musical incarnation of Phish. In short, I had an absolutely amazing time at these shows. I mean, who can argue with the fact that the boys threw down... At the same time, it wan't all about the music. I met and had the opportunity to hang out with some cool crews, both .net and other. To those of you a .net who made this run really special to me, I'd just like to say much thanks. I hope to see you in the future, as well as to meet new members.
Best wishes,
mango

PhishDicks @mangobrain how were your seats on the 28th? My 30th seats were sweet. Also, I made it into NYE.

Congratulations!!!!! To be honest, I met some friends and didn't even use them. I did use my GA for the 30th, and it was great. There was lots of space, and people were grooving.
