All is well. I have a treatment plan that looks like it might actually treat me and my mind's nefarious proclivities. Feelin' pretty darn good...and that's SOBER too
I missed you all!! Happy muthafuckin' new year!!
Glad it was just a short visit! Cuckoo eggs just aren't that exciting to look at from above, anyhow.
niceOnly for the second night. I introduced myself to the psych ward staff by having a massive panic attack which was quickly taken care of by a lorazepam/diphenhydramine/haloparidol cocktail.

Hope you stay healthy, @ivy_light. We're all rooting for you. That's the plan. Hopefully I start the intensive outpatient program next week so's I can be a psychoactive drug-free kind of nut
No more anti-psychotics for this lady. f*** that noise in the goat ass.
You're certainly not the first person to Go A Camera around here, @ivy_light. Glad you're feeling better.Dude, I went a camera in hi-def IMAX 3D. Thanks for the well-wishes!
Glad to hear you're ok Ivy. May I ask, was this drug induced? Thanks, dude. Nope. Just good old natural mental illness.

If we're ever in New England, we'll have to get together. And, of course, you got a place to crash for Dick's '13 with us!!!
You have my sympathy Ivy I know what you're going through. It will most definetely get better. You're a really good person and I look forward to seeing you smiling again at the next .net meet-up.

Awww, shucks, er'rybody. Thanks. It's good to be back. It was terrible but necessary I guess. Easing back into things. I think I'll actually be able to work today. Work from home, but work nonetheless. Got yet another extension on the paper, now due Feb 3. I owe a lot of beers to a lot of people. If you're as brave and positive as you come across, you're going to kick arse at this recovery thing. Rock on!
my mind's nefarious proclivities. You sent me to google twice to figure out what this meant.
Glad to hear your feeling better.
...but I'm back now. Resting comfortably at home and dipping my toes back into reality. It's nice to know that inpatient mental treatment hasn't changed much since the 1970s. Yeesh. Glad I was only on the "inside" for about 24 hours (not counting the harrowing experience of the 24 before that that I spent in the ER "behavioral health room" - NOTE TO HOSPITALS: PLEASE DON'T PUT PEOPLE WITH PANIC DISORDERS IN BARE, WINDOWLESS, TINY, LOCKED ROOMS WITH THE LIGHTS ON 24/7!!).You looked great when I saw you - guess I missed somethin. Glad all is well!

I'm always burning on the inside like my man Anders Osborne.
glad to hear your back on track....don,t rush into the pool as the water can shock you...dip your toes in first, as they get used to it, slowly work yourself in.....Giggidy.

In general, things were good in NYC. Getting there was rough. Sometimes I become so anxious that I develop a bit of agoraphobia. I almost had a complete meltdown Saturday AM just walking to the subway to catch Amtrak to NYC. Lightheadedness, dizziness, shortness of breath. Then again before boarding the train. But with the help of @TheEmu I was able maintain control and so they never developed into full-blown panic attacks. I made tons of progress in NYC. Just getting out of DC and getting to see Phish and you guys was SOOOOO therapeutic. I like to call it "Booty-shaking Therapy" (BST). So after some quality BST, I thought I was on the mend. But once I got back home it all came crashing down - hard and fast.
@joonze !!! How YOU feelin', man?!?! We missed you SOOOOO much in NYC!!! Still lots of vibes and prayers heading your way from here in Maryland!
